Worth a Re-Visit
Thoroughly enjoyed a challenging and damp 13 hole, 2 ball at the Herefordshire.
We played from midday. There weren’t too many people on the course and we’d picked up an amazing offer of £10 each. We were greeted at the pro shop by a very friendly and knowledgeable individual whose name I don’t know.. Sorry my friend! You are a credit to the facility.
The course was in good shape. Especially the greens. There is a lot of elevation between the sixth and ninth holes which added a new challenge of ball above feet (or at least so it seemed) and oxygen required!
My favourite hole had an elevated tee and a drop of about 100 ft. If you get the ball away well it’s a pleasing feeling to hit the green in two..
I will definitely revisit the course in dryer weather. I would recommend this course.
What a beautiful course to play. Undulating course with numerous tricky holes and just ten bunkers for those who dislike sand. A little water to avoid and a few out of bounds. You do not necessarily have to be a long hitter, precision is the key. Come here for peace and quiet.
Lovely well laid out course, enjoyed playing,
Greens and fairways excellent
Well laid out, interesting to play.
pace of the course was awful, lost the will to live!
Would still go back, but pick a less busy time.
We got a 7.24 tee time beating staff to the course. Members helped out with scorecards etc and basic info. Beautiful location and very hilly. Challenging for two 60 + golfers on holiday with carrying the only option. Every hole offered a different challenge and would suit golfers of all standards providing they are fit.
Very friendly staff post round rightfully proud of their club and course
A great course which is a good challenge for golfers of all ability.
Just a shame we got stuck behind a society which meant the round was almost 5 hours
Super parkland course
Wet day at the start but course played well and no bad boggy areas. A little pooling on the greens. Every hole has little features that make for an interesting round - blind shots, subtle doglegs, transverse slopes and few completely flat greens. A couple of steep climbs.
Truly beautiful course with amazing views, I will definitely be returning
Previously a member here and the course has had some small improvements that have greatly improved the layout.
Superb condition and highly recommend it to golfers who have nor been here before
Herefordshire golf club
Absolutely fantastic condition today excellent greens credit to the greens crew .
Would definitely recommend this course and look forward to playing it again in the near future
Course in great condition on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Quite hilly so a good test of fitness as well as your golfing skills.
8 of us took advantage of the unbelievable rate of £17.but would happily play £40 for Sunday round.
Played a few times before as relatives are members.
Always a great walk, interesting layout, old school hard greens, unique holes. Friendly staff, good cider. Worth the drive from Oxfordshire
Will always go back, .
Wonderful golf course
Every hole is an individual challenge with great views of the wonderful countryside.
One of the best courses I have played, only made even better with the local hospitality from members and staff of the golf club.
A must play course!
