Value for the money your paying
The course was in good condition but unfortunately on the day we played the speed of play was very slow. I would say that it's a very good course if you want to practice your iron play. Alot of the holes are closely marked out with 'out of bounds' or 'red/yellow hazard markers' so accuracy off the tee is key. There are one or two dangerous spots where you're teeing off/putting in the line of others approaching te green on another hole. Despite this, the guy in the pro shop was fully keyed up on the knowledge regarding Golfpass membership, and he was very forthcoming with good advice on the course and amenities. All in all, a good day for the money we payed.
Heyrose
Great layout fantastic condition for this time of year Lloyd the pro very friendly, I recommend this course to anyone
Balls lost in the fairway
We left after 7 holes. Fairways were too wet and we lost a number of balls that just disappeared into the fairway. Group in front were very slow but I think alot can be blamed on looking for their ball in the fairway. I chose to play a round here because of the 'industry leading' drainage. Could of played the open 7 holes at my own course for free.
Excellent
Great course, greens in lovely condition. My only drawback would be to say the grass on the fairways was a little bit long. Other than that we had a great round and would definitely come back.
Not in pressed 1 to 6 holes closed we where only told when booking in
Uninspiring.
Very poor Tee boxes , greens ok, boring and uninspiring track. Oversold and over priced. Played Aston Wood in Sutton Coldfield the following day and for the same price there was no competition.
Excellent
Superb. 1st hole does not justify how good this course is. Excellent condition - even after huge downpour. We played on 2nd Aug… if it wasn’t for work commitments I would join this club. Played it numerous times in last few months and it is a credit to the ground staff. 5 Stars!
Very good value
Receptionist was absolutely lovely. Very helpful and friendly and made you feel welcome.
Course was also in very good condition (greens excellent)
Overall very good value
4 ball
Very enjoyable round of golf on a hot day.staff very friendly course was in excellent condition and a nice layout with tree lined fairways.very enjoyable and easy walking. Would definitely recommend.
Nice greens
Considering the recent dry weather, the greens and fringes were in excellent condition.
The only disappointing thing of the round was being stuck behind a member with his 2 guests for the whole of the round. They had the opportunity on every hole to allow us through, but insisted on making us play at their very slow pace!
