Nice greens
Considering the recent dry weather, the greens and fringes were in excellent condition.
The only disappointing thing of the round was being stuck behind a member with his 2 guests for the whole of the round. They had the opportunity on every hole to allow us through, but insisted on making us play at their very slow pace!
The course was in great condition and the staff were friendly and helpfully

First time playing here .Friendly staff made to feel welcome. Ended up pairing up with a member very friendly guy. Gave me some great advice about the holes as we were playing them .Enjoyed my day .recommend you play this one..

Great course greens and fairways excellent friendly Pro Lloyd recommend this to anyone, club house in need a face lift and better food would also be good
Great course, great price
Played here for the 1st time, course was good, got held up with people starting at hole 17 and then continuing into hole 1, the greens need some attention but the course is generally very good

Green’s were okay
Great course greens are a let down
Not exactly sure what has happened to the greens at heyrose but they certainly are not being taken care of correctly. I've played this course 3 times now as a visitor and the first two times the greens were immaculate, quick and well maintained, however, we played earlier this week and they were terrible. I fully appreciate that green keeping is a skilled art, but when you are charging £30 per round, you expect a better condition than this! Pitch marks everywhere; dry; rough; patchy; bumpy; random dry ditches, all in all they turn a two put into 3, sometimes 4.
A great course
This is a lovely course in a great setting.
One of my favourite courses in Cheshire with a good variety of holes. The greens were a bit slower than I am used to but other than that it was perfect.

Hampered by really really slow play but course was in good condition considering coming out of peak season and some interesting challenging holes.

Great course to play. Not the most challenging course for a low handicapper but you will want to play it again and again. Superb condition and staff very friendly.
