Great beginner course, as well as fun.
The course was average to better condition and was a lot of fun. I will be coming back to play,
fun course, good for practiceing your short game
narrow fairways require some well place shots, greens are in very good shape, staff was very friendly, you can play a quick 9 holes in 1 1/2 hrs
Course was quite challanging
Enjoyed playing the course. However the fairways are quite narrow for someone of my capability.
Good For Some Quick Practice
Georgia Trail is basically what is advertised, a 9 hole executive course. The course is cut into reclaimed bottom farm land and can be wet. The course was dry and in better than typical condition for this round. The greens are small, hard and fairly slow. Georgia Trail will put your short game to a test. Maintenance is slightly below average when compared to other short courses in the area. The practice facilities are slightly above average for this class of facility, but could be near outstanding with some TLC. Overall, the facilities are nicer than average.
Driving range accessible and course very open
This has been my third time here and I still like it.
You get to use your driver a couple of times, your FW wood and wedges.
The fairways were well maintained, greens were very good and challenging hole placement.
Its a nice layout. I used a cart, but I think walking it would be better.
I was alone, no one in front of me and I played a well paced 9 holes in less than 90 minutes.
Thank you
This course is great for working on putting and chipping.
The course was decent and I feel I received a great value for what I paid through Golf Now. The only draw back for me is the standing water on the course which created the perfect environment for bugs. I would have enjoyed myself more if they had sprayed to keep some of the bugs at bay.
Great learning course for beginners and families
I have played here six times now including the first time I've ever played golf on a course and I've always had a great time. The staff is very courteous, they offer club rentals, and the other players I have interacted with have all been very friendly. For me it has been a great place to learn the game, definitely give it a shot!
Course needs major attention!
This course was in such poor condition that I couldn't even tell where the fairways were! There was a ton of bugs, and now that I think about it there weren't any fairways on each hole. Would definitely not recommend this Course to anyone!!
Nice on hot time deals!
This is a good short game practice course. It does not have any truly difficult holes but makes sure you are not trying to go for it on every hole. I think it's worth it when you can book on hot deals through golf now.
need attetion
Poor shape.. boring. Driving range to close to the court. All most was hit by a balls from driving range..
Poor Value for the Money
I wouldn't recommend this course for the average-competitive golfer. Slow pace of play. Great family and beginner atmosphere though.
Quick Round
It's a 9 hole course and is never really busy. The only problem I had was that if you hit the ball over the green you pretty much lost it. There is no room behind the greens and the grass is so high that it's impossible to find it.
On a plus note they staff charged me incorrectly during my visit and when I presented the details they went above and beyond to make sure I was compensated correctly.
It's ok...
For $15 it's about the cheapest you can get around Atlanta... It's kinda narrow, so it's easy to loose alot of balls if your beginner. The course needs attention, the grass wasn't cut and the greens are in pretty rough shape. But for $15 what do you really expect?
They do have a pretty cool little putt putt course on site that is really fun!!
Great place for 9 holes after work.
Great course for some after work fun. They could use some better cart path direction on the first hole. Being my first time there, I had no clue where to go for the 2nd hole. Also could use some higher nets on the right side of the range, balls are all over hole 1. I had 2 land within 15 ft of me while on the green.
