I enjoyed this course most of the fairways are quite open and invite you taking the driver out the bag course was in good to fair condition. Bunkers had fresh sand in them . Several holes were wet and soft .The has been a lot of rain water recently. So probably not a course to pick after heavy rain. But in good weather very enjoyable..
Worst condition ever
I normally don't write reviews. However yesterday I played hoylake and can honestly say it's the filthiest course I've ever been too. The fairways were a disgrace, the greens were so patchy etc. Sand in the Bunkers like concrete. The front 9 is in shocking condition. The back 9 slightly better but overall it's simply a filthy course. I booked it as being in hoylake I thought it's gotta be pretty decent but I was proved wrong. I'm not a member at another club on here slating the place. I play a diff course in the north west every weekend. My advice is stay well away from here. It's in appalling condition. Waste of money. So many other great courses near by which offer a much better experience. Don't say I didn't warn you.,
