Great course great weather

A friend and I booked a round at short notice at Hull G C. We were blessed with a blue sky and little breeze. Checking in at the Pro shop was friendly and efficient with brief details of the course given. We arrived at the Club early and asked if we could play before our tee time . We were told that would be ok as the course was quiet. It looked like seniors were out playing. We had a bacon sandwich and coffee before the game which was one of the best I have had at any golf course. We played at our own pace and weaved our way round easily. I managed to shoot two under par on my handicap of 20. The greens were ok, there was no water standing in fact some of the fairways were a little devoid of grass in part due to the dryness .. I enjoyed it so much that I am thinking of visiting with a Society which I run before the season starts for real.

Spot on

Seems as it’s winter and had had a lot of rain in last week , course conditions were spot on , bit bogey in places on fairway but to be expected , greens were very good and true , bunkers bit hard but greenkeepers were off round raking them , always love playing here all be it mostly winter times as summer quite expensive but it is one of the better courses in the area . All in all had an enjoyable round on a tricky course that suits all handicaps

Very good design enough trees to be challenging but you don't loose your ball. Holes 8,9 &10 are a superb sequence. Some very long par 4s (in wet conditions)
I would like to play this in summer. We did not use the club house. The course was in good condition for November.

Hull Golf Course

Excellent welcome from friendly staff. The course was in reasonable condition for early March, with a couple of temporary winter greens.
The course was very quiet,we completed 18 holes in 3 hrs 40 minutes.I cannot comment on the off course facilities as we left the club for a business meeting in Hull.

Excellent value in Yorkshire!

We are regular visitors to Hull Golf club. Today we organised a winters day out as an early Christmas celebration. It was "silly cheap" at £12 - and the course was almost empty - so Monday is a great day to play. (But no catering) It's winter - so it's not at its best - the greens were fine, but all putting and chipping needed to be very firm. There was no wind or rain, it was cool but not bad for December - and as an added bonus the rough is down at a minimum. We enjoyed our day at Hull, and will be back in spring.

Great course, was a bit dubious with all the rain we've had but it was in excellent condition, three old gentleman in front of us let us through which is always a bonus, so all in all a great day.

November in West Ella

Enjoyed a round at Hull Golf Club, all of the greens were in excellent condition and very fast, for the time of year.
The fairways were in the process of being spiked but preferred lies negated any problems. Good value for money at the reduced winter price. I will be going again in the near future.
