Fab course, interesting layout particularly the part where 3 holes converge on each other. Amazing views from every hole, pick a nice day for it and you’ll have a blast
This is course is a must for any golfer, very challenging with lovely sea view from every hole would definitely go again if i holiday in Devon
The course and views were outstanding
Greens were well maintained
Weather was also good would definitely come back again
The course was in reasonable condition but the weather was atrocious, high winds and rain, which you could not forecast when booking on line weeks in advance. The staff were friendly but due to covid restrictions most of the club was not in use. I would play again hopefully in better conditions
Great location very friendly club
My third time playing this course, the weather was fantastic my golf not as good. The course was in very good condition and everyone at the club were very friendly. The course would be very different in windy conditions so we were very lucky with the weather we had.. Take time to take in the views. All the covid 19 safety measures were well explained and easy to follow . All in all a great day.
It was our 2nd time playing here while on holiday. Fantastic course ,fantastic staff in club and shop very welcoming hospitality. If your about would recommend 100% the scenery is amazing what a view from every hole.
This is the best course I have played while in England.
The greens are excellent and the views are spectacular. Everyone was very friendly in the proshop and in the restaurant. I even got a chance to speak with the greens keeper. I highly recommend that you put this course on your play list.
Scenery was fantastic, with the temperature in the mid twenties this course tested my golf and
Fitness, very high climbs and hanging lies were the norm.
Good test for the average golfer and open enough for the wayward.
Enjoyed my day and lost some calories, it is what
holiday golf is all about.
Very nice course
Very nice course would definitely recommend getting a buggy though. If u haven’t played it b4 the course layout is hard to follow but the members who are on course were very helpful. Greens were very fast but in great condition. Value for money and views that would be hard to beat on any course
A round with a view
The claim that you get a sea from every tee is certainly true. The course was wet but in good condition with fine greens. The layout was slightly confusing and the lack of on course signs or score card map didn’t help. Also some signs around the etiquette on the crossover points would have been helpful. That aside really great course and we will be venturing back very soon to take up their 18 holes + breakfast offer.
Course was in top condition and has some interesting holes. Views are amazing. Definitely a course I would enjoy playing again.
A Round In Between “The Beast(s) from the East”!!
With playing off temporary Tees and putting on recently dressed Greens, the course was far from its usual best. And just like the majority of golf courses in the UK, the course had taken a “battering” from such a wet winter. Having said all that, it was a lovely sunny day in March when I played and none of the above distracted me from the magnificent panoramic views over Ilfracombe Bay. Looking forward to returning for another round of golf in May. Kind Regards. Maxstoke Mickey.
