Because the course was open but there was rain all day unable to obtain refund from GolfNow. It is for this reason aloneI have given 1 star.

Really nice course in every way, can’t think of any negatives. Greens are quite small but really good condition and pace, great layout with lots of interesting holes some stunning views on back nine. Got lucky with tee time (had course to ourselves pretty much) would definitely recommend.

Played following a period of rainfall. Welcome in shop was very warm and informative. Course busy with a wait on most tees but did not detract from overall relaxed feel. Main problem is the greens. Looks as if they had just been hollow tined and were bumpy and patchy. Maybe the hot summer had not helped but they do need some attention. Having said all of that , enjoyed the round and especially the amazing views on the 11 & 12 holes.

Course has some difficult holes especially the 12, it's well worth a visit.

Really nice course with few really tight holes on the first couple of tees especially the first. Couple of the greens could be doing with a little work especially the 12th I think it was.

The whole experience was excellent, as visitors we were made welcome by staff and members, the course was in good condition considering the dry weather. A very relaxing time.

Great course and condition but it would be nice if it could have a couple of water fountains possible on a couple of the tee off for the hot days

Great course with superb facilities. A driving range with grass bays very rare and a nice practice area for your short game
The course was in excellent condition despite the prolonged dry spell.
We received a warm welcome in the pro shop and the bar staff were all friendly and provided a great service.
I would highly recommend this course if you are visiting Somerset.

Nice course just teed off before it got busy forgot to pick up a score card from pro shop which then shut but luckily a lovely girl who works behind the bar found me one many thanks

Played in pure sunshine first round of golf for a long time found it very relaxing course in good condition and well maintained and some beautiful scenery on the back 9

Outstanding playing conditions on the day matched by the course conditions , well stocked and well staffed pro shop, I will definitely be returning

Course was very busy and play was a little slow.
Conditions were wet but the course was in great condition considering.

Refund was only eligible if course closed which it had. Requested refund from golf now and still waiting for a reply.

Frustrating to have to hire hedgehog wheeled trolley when it is plain to see the damage these cause to the course! Seems like a bit of a money spinner!?
