Millionaires golf

Played yesterday. Picked this course as they let you walk your dog with you.Very quirky with every hole different. Quite hilly but not too strenuous. A little difficult to find where you are going on few occasions, and the tee boxes need some work but overall as we played it for 18 pounds it was well worth the money. Coffee and drinks on the outside seating area after were well earned.

Beautiful Killiow

Killiow is so beautiful submerging yourself back to, & into nature. It’s beautifully quiet too.
There’s a real friendly & laid back approach here & you are very much welcomed & appreciated.
The course is in lovely condition & the greens are so well maintained.
Thank you to everyone who helps to run such a lovely club.

Nice course, with good layout. Only two downsides. One was the greens. They were very slow and poorly grassed also holes 3 - 9 did not come up in my GPS, not a big issue just an annoyance.
Overall not a bad course. Would visit ahain

Overall very good course

It was a lovely afternoon playing on this course, conditions were very good, well worth playing. Only negatives I can think of is the signs around the course aren’t that great so it can be easy to take a wrong turn. Also the greens were a little bumpy which didn’t help my score on the day

Inadequate course maintenance

The course had some potentially nice holes but was let down by inadequate maintenance that left the tee boxes and fairways undermown and the greens bumpy. Disappointing even at a very good price for a hot deal round.

Disappointing

Very hilly course and no buggies to hire. Not well signed and a little tired. Great they allow dogs to accompany on as lead but clubhouse does not allow dogs and no outside area to sit. In warm weather unable to leave dog in car so no drink/food after round.

A good day spoiled by competition

We played on a Sunday lunchtime and were 30 minutes ahead of what appeared to be a competition later on. This did not bother us as we knew we had plenty of time - we were held up by a couple of juniors briefly but we were allowed to play through by their mentor. The round was progressing well - no one else in front of us - yet on the 12th tee we were approached by a member in a buggy informing us that there was a competition approaching behind that we must allow to play through - we would be waiting for a while though as there were multiple groups in this competition - she suggested we missed holes out. With respect if I have paid my green fee then I expect to play the whole course - not a random selection. As a result we felt obliged to speed up our play to an extent that impacted our performance and ultimately score and enjoyment. As it turned out the competition didn't get any closer than an entire par 5 behind us and ultimately we finished several holes ahead. I didn't care too much for the way in which we were treated - if you don't want players interfering with a fast paced competition then do not make tee off times available anywhere near it.

This is disappointing as I like the golf course very much as it offers a variety of challenges that can interest and test a golfer of all abilities. The greens were on the whole in decent condition - but all of them were very slow. I'd recommend the course to people - just be aware of members!
