Kirkbymoorside
Challenging course with each hole needing a bit of thought about ball placement. Fairways in good condition as were the greens. We had very good weather with light winds, this would be a very challenging course with stronger winds.
4 ball April 11th
The club house is getting refurbished so no pro shop or putting green.
The bar manager was very friendly, course is challenging with some tight fairways and lots of dog leg holes. Greens weren't the best but definitely worth a visit.
One of our favourite courses
Like many other courses in the area, the greens were not at their best. However I’m sure in a few weeks they will be. A few of the holes have steep climbs but it is such a pretty course and quite challenging. Building work is taking place at the clubhouse so a certain amount of disruption there. Very friendly and helpful bar manager. We will definitely be returning to this little gem .
Great overall course
This course is genuinely a nice little course to play. Whilst it's a par 70, if it's the first time you've played the course, the terrain will get catch you out. Some of the holes have a stunning view too.
I'd recommend you take a buggy if it's your first time!
Kirkbymoorside golf course
First time playing it today, cracking course, great condition and well worth the fee. It’s long and a bit hilly over some holes, can see why folk use electric buggies! Staff and members we met very friendly. Highly recommended, would definitely play it again.

Cracking layout, course was in great nick and the staff/members were really friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends or anyone visiting the area.
My Favourite Course
I love this course, all year round, the drainage is good, challenging course, specially when there is wind, but overall I couldn’t fault the course, as I say, my favourite course to play on
Good scoring course
It took me a few holes to find the pace of the greens, plus every green has many subtle slopes. However, I managed to avoid any serious trouble which enabled me to play to my handicap
