4th time playing Longridge course in very good condition. The greens were a bit tricky and played fast. On the day we were behind a four ball but they let us through on hole 3 so enjoyed a good round of golf.
Better Than Most Expensive Course in the Area
Very good. Greens good pace and true, good views and decent course. And for the money, why play anywhere else? Other courses could learn from this model.
The course was in an excellent condition particularly the greens. The course views were outstanding.
Great course great views
So lucky to have played here 4 times and its been glorious every time. Greens are a challenge so fast... My favourite course in the area. pehaps not as employable on a wet and windy day in January but cant be beaten on a nice day.
Played last week, last night and I’m going again next week, great course and great value for money
Great course, great condition, friendly staff.
If you’ve not been, you have to visit and play here. The weather helps , given the location but it’s a challenging course with the best views too.
Great evening at Longridge GC
Third time at Longridge but I’ll be going back for more.
The course is loving the dry weather, the fairways and greens are in great condition.
The layout of 3 >> 16 is tight in places but still a good layout and plenty of opportunities to recover a poor drive or one that’s hit a slope!!
1/2/17/18 are a good workout and offer quality views too .
All in all a great course and worth a visit.
Good course with great views
Choose a nice day with no wind and Longridge is a lovely course with fantastic views.
Beware of the 2nd and 18th holes, which are quite a climb. On the plus side, the the 1st is a nice gentle downhill start and the 17th is a great downhill par 4.
When I played the course was in great condition.
Played Longridge a few times and the course is usually in great condition. The greens were great but there is drainage going on on the course so a few areas are GUR and one of the holes is out of commission so only 17 holes to play. No problem because work has to take place sometime. Always the staff on and off the course are friendly. Will play again.

Following the recent dry weather the course was in excellent condition, firm and well cut fairways and well managed greens. The whole round was enjoyable. The only minor moan of disappointment was the drainage work on 3 but I’ll be going back to tackle that par 5.
I would recommend the course to everyone and take a camera because the views are outstanding too!
Great Value - Nice Course
Nice course, will be back - could do with a few signs to direct you to the next hole. But overall a lot of course for the money
Played here after reading course reviews. The pro and members were very friendly. Course is hilly in places hence the great views. Some driveable par 4’s but beware of the trouble if you’re off line. Well worth a visit and I wouldn’t hesitate to play it again.
Cleary this course is a quality track, unfortunately the day before we played it had lay quite a bit of rain down, so though the ground not too soft under foot balls were plugging on the greens upon impact which was a shame, but completely out the courses control, probably the wettest game ive had this year and ive played about 15 rounds in my hometown blackpool. up and down of it will definitely be back when its dried out a little, greens still very good pace. for the money we payed i went home happy.
Course was well manicured and the greens were excellent. All the staff were most accommodating and the catering was good and well priced. The course is a good walk with a few holes with steep slopes. Outstanding views from the course.
Played as a three ball, pace of play good, course in great condition and challenging, greens immaculate and fast, staff great, friendly and helpful, I play twice a week and different course every time, play from Preston to Blackpool, through Bolton and all round Manchester and this course is the main one I can't wait to play again. Great value for money, P.S please replace your divets and pitch marks and look after this beauty at least till I get back, THANKYOU

For time of year course in very good condition greens in excellent condition .will be going back very soon.
Lovely challenging course
I found this course very well looked after and despite rain previously was in very good condition. At the moment they are re-building some tees hence the price reduction but this did not affect the enjoyment of the round. Extremely picturesque and holes 2 and 18 particularly challenging on the legs!
We will definitely be taking advantage of the price for the near future.
Unfortunately it rained heavily all morning but considering the amount of rain the course held up well. Some serious uphill holes (2&18) and windy conditions made the back nine tough. I would love to play here I the height of summer and I will definitely be doing that next year! It struck me as a really friendly club from the lad I the pro shop (who sold me his putter at a very reasonable price!), to the green staff and all the members I came across. All in all had a wonderful days golf (apart from the score!) and look forward to playing there again.
