Lovely Course
Great course, first time here and thoroughly enjoyed it . very picturesque wildlife everywhere, especially deer !
Very hot day!
Very hot on the course. Was quite busy but very enjoyable. Bought the hot deal, so was good value until I realised it is in the ULEZ zone, and my vehicle not compliant. So had to pay the Ulez charge on top. Which put the cost up to a normal course charge.
Good fair test
Lovely little course, in immaculate conditions. Great first hole to ease into the round, which is always a bonus and a few tough ones later to test all levels of golf. Greens roll lovely. Two small issues. The club shop is under stocked, (Only balls were Callaway Warbirds or Supersofts) and putting green is pointless, it’s massive with no flat putts to practice. However, outside of the amenities, this is a fantastic course you shouldn’t worry about having a great time. Just take balls with you
Mayland was fun
Good mid priced golf course. Value for money. Will be back there soon
Good golf course
Played a number of times, course in good condition, would recommend
Sunday morning
Fantastic course played many time, my only complaint about Sunday if your going offer early t time (we teed of at 6:30) make sure the pro shop is open or make sure a score card is available as I had to make my own one up …
Personal safety?
Playing as a single I don't appreciate random groups of local teenagers running around the course making it a playground.
Nice course with good layout and some interesting holes
I’ve played here a few times and always enjoy. On this occasion I was playing alone and got stuck behind a three ball from the third hole onwards. Despite several opportunities for them to call me through they didn’t which was a little frustrating. Course was a little wet and muddy in places due to overnight rain but played well. Nobody present in pro shop on arrival but scorecard was available.
Lots of deer roaming around the course which was nice to see
Good course
Well worth the visit , course is challenging pace of play good
No one in front or behind to be honest
Really decent
Waterlogged
Puddles everywhere, poor drainage compared to other courses nearby. Not worth £40 after some rain. This price is only justifiable during summer.
Exceptionally wet
It is a beautiful course with friendly members and staff and would love to play here again … when it’s dry. I could not believe how boggy the entire course was. I think if I was a member I would be quite a grieved that non members were allowed to play in those condition, which unfortunately affected the value for money.
