Millionaires golf

First time we had played this course and thoroughly enjoyed our round. The course is an easy walk but with some interesting holes. We had a 1pm tee time and only saw four other players on the course. Sandwich and a coffee for lunch was very well priced and a couple of beers after in a comfortable lounge. We will be back.

Better Last Year

I played this course last year and I thought it was much better then.
Tohe fairways had more standing water than I would of expected, and the paths are mainly in a poor condition, but on the plus side the greens are in a good condition and running true.

Magnificent Mersey Valley

Really fun little course with plenty of turns and twists that make you think. Really quiet when we played and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Amazing value for money.

Even with the amount of rain that had been had leading up to us playing, the course played extremely well and the greens were still running at a decent pace.

Very easy walking course for anyone who is looking for a quick fun round.

Course better, tee times still need fixing

Course looks much better now the grass has grown over the tonnes of rubble.
A few tees moved way forward, but scorecard doesn't match, in particular the par 5 which is now about 350yds
Greens were a bit long but ran properly
Can only echo previous comments about duplicate bookings, made to feel like I was in the wrong because another group had booked the same tee time via this site. Also told to complain to teeofftimes - why is it my problem? Update your computer system so it doesn't allow dupe bookings, or sort with teeofftimes yourselves - all I did was book a tee 5 days in advance, pay my money and turn up at the agreed time. If it keeps happening like I was told, then surely it's on you to resolve, not the customer.
Eventually got out and wasn't a bad round

The course was in good condition. Greens were running well andfor the price it was worth the money. Will go back for another round. A chance for a low round with a lot of short par 4's

Pace of play a problem but great course

Positives:
Course was in good condition throughout
Great mixture of holes in terms of difficulty. Good placement of hazards on the shorter holes too to give longer hitters something to think about.
Only going to get better once tees are finished on 6&14, currently off temp tees (grass not mats) shortening those holes
Negatives:
Was made to feel like I'd commited a crime by booking online. Club seems determined to let people know that if they've been booked on the same tee time as another 2ball it's not their fault but 'those online'. I've read tee of times t&C's and I know that happens, no need to repeat the point 5 times before giving me a scorecard
No one from the club on course ensuring play is moving on at the right pace. There was a 2 ball infront of us who we saw on more than one occasion on talking on the phone on tee boxes causing a delays for all. They were in a buggy, we were not yet we got held up by them all round, so much so we had a 4ball behind us keep pace. They also drove across a green which says it all

Well recommended course

Enjoyed a great round on Mersey valley over the bank holiday weekend. Not too busy so managed to play at a good pace without the pressure of people waiting behind. Some really nice par 5s, and an overall well laid out 18 holes. Will definitely play there again.

Work in progress

The course is still a work in progress as there is so much work being done to it at the moment. It could also do with some tlc being given to the fairways and greens. However, the layout is fun to play and presents a challenge whilst giving higher handicap players a chance. Best of all, the members are a really friendly bunch (they handed over a rangefinder that had accidentally been left behind) and the clubhouse is great with excellent food.

good course

despite the last months rain the course was not in bad condition - yes it was wet but that is to be expected - and played quite well. There is quite a lot of work going on at the course and I expect it will be a belter when it has completed.
