TLC needed

This course could be a cracker but it's showing signs of a lack of attention.
What was the clubhouse now appears deserted. The paths for buggies are falling into disrepair. Every ball cleaner was bone dry.
Quite a few greens were a bit swampy. This course has always seemed to have a drainage problem and now they've taken the decision to turn some greenside bunkers which always had huge puddles in them, into permanent water hazards. It's a definite improvement.
This isn't an old course and I wonder how good it could be in a few years when some of the many saplings mature. There's some superb holes and some crazily sloping greens. If the noise from the nearby A roads doesn't bother you, and I couldn't care less, and if someone makes a bit of effort with the upkeep, this would be brilliant.

North weald.

Lovely course, well looked after. Some bunkers need repairing and sand put in. But over all. Well worth the money, will definitely play again. Staff polite and welcoming. Real shame about the old club house.
