prepare for a slow round

people turn up and play this course without paying creating slow play, checked before setting off what times were available six times before and 10 times after our time were still available. Had to wait on the first tee as someone just walked from the car park to the first tee and someone then followed us neither of them had scorecards, but as no-one does any spot checks on the course this will continue to happen, if you are happy to wait around on every tee then play this course

an excellent days golf

a welcome quiet course and in very good condition considering its early in the season. Greens and bunkers good and hardly any lying water considering it has been wet lately. Nice patio on the 19th to enjoy a welcome drink in lovely weather.

Course in good condition for late Oct as looks like been very little rain. Greens were very good for a 'municipal'. Pretty much had the course to myself. I played off the white tees as this course is quite short and makes it a bit longer and a few holes a lot more interesting plus yellows always get badly worn due to the traffic on this course
