Pyrford Golf Club

Title says it all. Nice course, with interesting water features and well kept greens etc but it took us 3.5 hours to finish 12 holes and ended up walking off. Would advise anyone to go early or avoid Sundays

Course has quite a confusing layout and very tricky for first timers. Very slow play, I can only assume because of all of the non-members hacking it round and getting lost.

Good points: greens are great, really really lovely. Course was also interesting and lots of fun if you can hit a ball well.

First time but really enjoyed the course as it made you think and driver was only an option on a few holes. Unfortunately fully booked and some very slow play, including the group in front, who while mature golfers lacked an understanding of ready golf and basic etiquette. Will definitely play again.

This golf course is short but challenging. Every hole has unique features that make the course really entertaining and technical. A lot of opportunities for risk/reward play. Many lakes and creeks as well as some heavy grass to deal with and avoid. The greens are impecable. Superbly maintained. Very fast greens.

What a fun course, lots to think about and really great design. Greens are a good size, a little fluffy when we played in the evening but run true. Really enjoyed the course,looks great, with a little more TLC on bunkers it's going to look stunning. A great challange to any golfer, I recommend you have a try.

Booked a fairly late tee off as a 2 ball, pro shop said we could probably squeeze in 18 if lucky. Unfortunately we finished only 9 holes in the dark, and that was teeing off the back 9 which is very short. Ridiculous groups ahead playing slowly as fours and the 1-ball behind was using the round as a teaching lesson throughout and wouldn’t allow playing thorough. No one monitoring. 2:45 for 9 holes on a very short course, sure it was only about £25 or so but that’s poor value for 9 holes and wasn’t worth the effort of getting there.

First hole was an embarrassment to the course. The rest of the course was tired and looked poorly maintained. Won’t be back.

A good change from normal Surrey courses,was dry due to poor rains.All in all worth a visit

Got deal for£21. Excellent for this course. Greens well kept and true. Rough was fair for this time of year.

A well kept, interesting course that makes you think your way round. Course management is key here. Plenty of memorable holes, just make sure you have a few extra balls, there's A LOT of water. Greens were very good/true. Paths between holes are eroded in places & could do with a bit of work. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

The weather was awful with driving rain, but the course was fair and challenging. The condition of the course was very good and the greens allowed all the putts to role nicely. I would definitely recommend the course.
