Disappointed
We played at radlett on the 17th Feb 18 and were supposed to T off at 09.16, However there were 3 groups still in front of us at this time so we asked the lady at the pro shop if we could start at the 10th hole which she let us do, thankfully. The course itself was extremely Boggy and the greens were not in the greatest condition, they had be spiked recenetly but were still very spongy and not great to play on. There was also a temporary green we were not told about on the 3rd hole which was ridiculous boggy and in my opinion extremely pointless. Radlett is usually a very good course to play so I feel really disappointed about the state of the course especially after paying £35 for a round. Which I think is very over priced for what we had.
Swamp
Although the weather was fine on the day the course was like a swamp. There is absolutely no drainage on this course and it was just a mud bath all the way round. The greens were in sodden and judging the pace of the greens was a nightmare. There was very little run of the ball on the fairways and balls were plugging with pools of water and mud all over the place . The course should not have been open for play in the condition it was in. I don't envy the ground staff and green keepers having to bring that course back to a normal playing condition.
Radlett in Winter
an interesting course with challenging holes in the back 9.
Conditions inevitably at this time of year are muddy and sometimes boggy off the fairway.
Greens required extra concentration because of their unevenness.
Great course in October
Wonderful course , if only the leaves would stop hiding my golf ball. Grrrhhhh!
Value for Money?
Actually this is a good course with a number of challenging holes. However, the greens were in atrocious condition having been spiked and sanded. It was almost impossible to putt properly, it was more like hit (hard) and hope. We were not advised of this at the time of registering at the pro-shop. I had booked on-line so wouldn't expect to see the information there but should have been told before we tee'd off.
Value for Money?
Well, No. Course is good but a little more maintenance required.
The fairways need to me mowed fully. Presently it is partly mowed.
Need to have a toilet built in between for senior's requirement.
Some more benches for rest.
When the greens are punched for maintenance there should be a warning notice at the start as so also on the web so that the player can decide to choose to play or otherwise. No pt in playing then as the ball as no direction or path to follow as per the lie of the ground.

Radlett Park
I've played this course many times but never mastered it. This is a good test of golf.
It was perfect weather and I was playing on my own as a practice.
Not busy at all but then 2 people appeared on the first tee from nowhere in front of me. Looked like they had come from the 18th green. They were soooo slow. Eventually by the 4th hole they let me through.
I was playing really well, the greens and fairways in really good nick.
Some bunkers unraked But plenty of sand.
Really enjoyed my round and almost played to my handicap!
Under the old management they used to have a refreshment shed at the 10th which was really useful particularly in the winter to grab a coffee or tea.
They should introduce something again, even if just a vending machine.
Excellent value especially when booked online with teeoff
Some extras needed
While the course was in good condition there were a couple of areas of improvement needed. Not all the tee boxes had hole numbers or plans for the hole. Also signage was needed for the directions to the next tee on every hole as some holes had a fair walk from green to next tee. it felt like a long round, though the course was very well kept, as a result of the walk from hole to hole. some players also cut holes for a shorter round and thus strangely appeared right behind us.
Good course - no refreshments!
Enjoyable course with some interesting short par 4s and excellent greens. Quiet so got round in just over 3 hours. Only negative was that the bar was shut by 7pm on a pleasant summer evening
A very well kept course, lots of good holes and do need to think when playing, I would come back and is if I came better my score.
Good Fun
Good value for money. It is a good mix of relatively easy and challenging holes. Greens were well maintained. The staff (Simon) was friendly. It was difficult to locate 100 and 150-yard markers. The condition of bunkers could be improved. The buggy needed cleaning. Will play again.
Course in wonderful condition
The course was in beautiful nick, particularly the greens which were consistent and true. The members out on the course were very polite without exception. This course is a little gem!
This course is good.
Very good course. The golf shop staff sometimes delay for Teeofftime.
Lovely course and fantastic staff
Great day of golf, the course is not to hard which was good for us as we don't play all the time. The greens where in great condition. The staff in the club house where fantastic we finished playing our round at about 2.30 went to the bar to order some food but we could not as the kitchen just closed due to having a competition on and they had to prepare the food for the function which was far enough so we got a couple of drinks and as we sat down they turned up with some complimentary sandwiches which was nice. Would definitely play there again
Don't Think i'd go back
Not as well maintained as it used to be. Pace of play really slow. We had a group of 5. One 3 followed by a 2 but the game was so slow we could play as a 5 and still keep up. Which we did for a while until we were told that it wasn't allowed so we split again, slowing it down even more for those behind us.
