Excellent little par 70 course!

First time playing this course,, first time golfing since 8 weeks of lockdown and thoroughly enjoyed it! Greens in decent condition, course layout very nice with some amazing unique little challenges... bit of water here and there.. some well placed bunkers protecting some seriously challenging pin positions!! Windy as so on this occasion we thanked the may tree lines ;) except for SI 1 which looked pretty daunting form tee box with howling wind swirling and OB staring at you on the right. !! Defo will play here again, definitely recommending our society playing a medal here.... handicap 10 - 34 points, handicap 18 - 31 points.

Ordinary layout good condition

I felt the course layout was fairly uninspiring except for a couple of holes on the back 9.
Green keepers had done an amazing job in keeping the course open after the high winds had bought down alot of branches.

Excellent day on the course

Ramsey is a fair test of golf with some difficult , we’ll la out holes. Definitely favours the faders of a golf ball more than those who draw it.

Played on 22nd February and course was in fair condition considering.

Staff friendly and good range of drinks in clubhouse.

Would definitely play again.

Slightly upset

3rd time playing here and it's truly a lovely course. Greens and fairways in excellent condition and very well looked after. The only quarrel I have is that I paid on the golf now app, then after I had played I had a member say to me "good to see people taking advantage of the free golf day!".
They were having a weekend where golf was totally free to non members. Upsetting to say the least that I wasn't informed this when I checked in with the guys at the pro shop.

Golf in autumn sunshine at Ramsey golf course

A really enjoyable golf course with a challenging, picturesque lay out. The well kept fairways are set among tall mature trees - which were looking at their best in autumn colours - and the greens are in excellent condition. Only comment I have is the pace of play which was very slow - almost five hours for the round due to a foursome playing mostly sideways in front - but that can happen anywhere. A charming course worth going back to.

A warm welcome, a getable course

Quiet in the middle of the day, middle of the week. Course condition was generally excellent, with well-groomed fairways, though the rough was sometimes challenging. Greens ran true and had a sensible pace. Warm welcome from the Pro who was very accommodating. Would definitely play again!
