Hilly but fun. No one in the proshop when i arrived though.
Spoilt by poor drainage
On the face of it, Reigate Hill appears a really nice course but after playing at the weekend, I'm sorry to report that it fell well below par.
Considering we've had very little rain this winter, and none a week in advance of playing, the course was very wet, with water coming up from the ground when walking on the fairways. This can only be put down to poor drainage.
No idea how bad things might get after heavy rain.
Unfortunately I can't recommend the course. Clubhouse and staff very friendly.
Winter friends game
A course for all golfers with some excellent holes. Due to the time of the year some green were solid while others still had a little give in them. Allow extra time for your round as some of the holes have a good distance from get to tee. There were a few winter tees but good mats you could get a tee into, in fact sometimes the ground was so hard we struggled to put our tees in the ground. Didn't use any of the other facilities apart from the toilets which were good.
A course we would play again
Good Course
Plenty of ups and downs. Greens in decent condition. Bunkers needed raking but weather not kind to them in late November. Not many balls lost
all round great
Very nice course . Enjoyed it that much we are going to take the society there next year
