What putting greens
Course has very poor drainage, greens played like they were all temp greens at other clubs. Wouldn’t rush back
Great course - friendly staff and generally nice location
Really love this course, it's my local one so have played it a fair few times. Lots of interesting holes which always offer a challenge. The greens do seem to get a bit water logged in the winter which makes putting hard in winter - but nothing any other similarly priced course wouldn't also suffer from.
Its just so slow
Backed up waiting for 3 groups including one who topped the ball 7 times off the first, got moved on by the starter and proceeded to wheel his cart across two greens. It was so village it was funny
3 hours to play front 9 and only 1.5 to so the back once we managed to play through
Wont be coming back
If you advertise it as europes busiest golf club then i guess you know what your getting
Equally if your going to pitch yourself at that market maybe cut the rough down so you dont have a ton of people looking for balls wondering across fairways etc
Richmond Park Princes
Having played this before the greens were well below par and quite a lottery. Having recently been hollow-tined they were very uneven and grass coverage was poor in places . Difficult to justify a full green fee in the circumstances - my home club reduces fees for the week following autumn course maintenance.
Terrible Queues
Honestly on of the worst courses for efficiency! They leave 3 mins between tee times so it took a 2 ball 6 hours and the back log didn’t allow us to play through.
I’ve played here several times as a last resort and I will never play there again.
Nice easy golf course in th le city
Nice course close to the city, reasonably well maintained. Bunkers were poor and layout could be improved a bit. But overall a nice public course, friendly staff and nice bar and restaurant. The driving range is also very good
yes and no ...
early tee time so no issue to get out and almost the first so no issue with the pace of play. With all the rain these days the course was in relatively good condition, some greens are not at their best, for winter play use can go over that though. The part which is annoying: leafs ... everywhere on the border of the fairway. As soon as your drive slightly leave the fairway, you are 80% chance to loose you ball. The joys of winter play !
BUNKERS...
Okay course, but for £38 I would at least expect the bunkers to all have rakes. 2 of them that I ended up in didn't and I ended up with a lie in a footprint.
