Decent course for the low price.
The course is fair for the price. The greens are decent but the fairways are hard and weedy. My biggest complaint is the lack of distance markers. I recommend the course to those for whom low price is most important.
Good course for the price
The course has a nice layout through the trees and hills. The course needs a little work and cart paths are old and bumpy. Hopefully, the new management can get the course back in great condition. It is a good course for the money.
rewards for making good shots, fun for golfers of all caliber
Fast greens in good shape, thanks to recent rains the course was in pretty good shape, no beverage cart so bring your own supplies, only 100, 150, and 200 yardage markers on cart path, for the price it was an enjoyable experience and will play again in the future
Tee boxes and greens need significant work
The course layout is good, but condition was poor. I don't want to complain too much since we got $20 green fees off of Golf Now. Tee boxes are chewed up, greens are burnt out (putting though a lot of bare spots).
Course Location
Course is located not far from I-45. Some holes are challenging but overall it need some TLC around bunkers, Tee boxes and fariways.
Hard to beat for the price. Straight shots rewarded - anything else is penalized.
Nice layout. You can tell there has been some recent heavy rains (sand traps washed out and water marks on trees). Overall the course in good shape. Tight fairways make it a necessity to hit the ball straight. Great value for the price.
Great golf experience at reasonable price!
Great experience, greens are fast, fairways need aeration and water.
Tough golf course but fun to play.
This course is challenging and well maintained.
Being retired and just weekend golfers our twosome had quite the challenge at the course. The greens and fairways are well maintained and great to play from if you can keep your shots in the short grass. The fairways wind around through the trees and are i would guess to be about 50 to 60 yards wide. A lot of the greens are elevated and a couple of the par 3's are all carry with water in front of them. My partner and i didn't score great but we never do, however; we really enjoyed playing the course.
Great course for the $.
Great layout and price. The course could use some attention from a weeds and overgrowth standpoint, but overall this course has one of the better layouts in the Houston area.
Nice but....
Nice course. Great for the price the only draw back was they were watering almost every hole while we played. No roll.
Great greens, tight fairways, needs a little TLC
Played this course for the first time. Only a 35 minute drive from the Woodlands. Course requires some accuracy but is fair. I don't think it gets a lot of play but the course could be maintained a little better. Greens rolled really well which was a surprise. Would definitely play again with Golf Now's Hot Deals.
Great course
I like playing here. Looking forward to comeback!!
Great value.
There is a lot to like about this course. There are some easy holes like the short par 5 #16. There are some challenging hole like #12 where a blind tee shot leads to deciding whether to lay up or go for it on your second shot. Now if only someone would cut down the tree in the middle of the 3rd fairway. :)
Fun golf course
Fun golf course, greens very good overall, smooth, little weed here and there, but ok. Staff in pro shop and snack bar were wonderful. Had a great time, cannot wait to go back.
Fun to play
Tight fairways. Greens in fair shape. Has a couple of tough holes.
Great value!
This was an average course but a great value! I will be back!
TN is one of our favorite courses to play
TN offers some fun holes along with some challenging ones and for the most part makes you use most of your clubs in the bag. The natural beauty of the woods with the rolling terrain plus the peacefulness is a big attraction.
Short, tree lined, accuracy required, small greens
Don't be fooled by the short yardage on the score card - try and leave 100 yards for a full shot in as green-side is not all that for chipping. #15 has very hard fairways - I planned for the 100 yard approach but my five wood travelled 265 yards - it is usually only a 215 yard club for me.
Needs alot of Attention and Water
This course needs alot of money put into it to bring it back to its original glory... Its a shame what this course is now.....
