One of the best courses we have been on, course well kept would definitely play here again.
Winter Golf
Course in fantastic condition even when a lot of other courses are closed due to rain.
Stunning scenery
I love the layout, features and location of this course. Best course for miles.
Great winter golf
Only course that was fully open after all the rain. Course in fantastic condition from tee to green. Abit wet on fairways but drainage is very good. Got a hot deal for £12 so can't complain at the two temp greens they had on. Every hole is different and the views are great. Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't played it before. One of the best in the North West
Great course, fantastic views
I’ve been playing golf for few years now, have played on numerous golf course in the northwest but this little gem is one of the best course I have played.
The course condition was excellent, quirky layout and breathtaking views.
Will definitely play here again.
Storm Babet!
We played the day after Storm Babet, and didn't expect the course to be open. It was and in amazing condition despite all the rain in the days before our round. Some great holes and amazing views, not too difficult but with a few blind tee shots. Good facilities and pro shop, will definitely play there again! Highly recommended.
A course you need to know
Great course
Play with a member or a local to help guide shots to play
Good course
Temporary greens but can tell the course is quality in summer
What a cracker
No idea how I’ve missed this course up until now, it is proper grown up parkland (with a hint of heathland) track. There’s only one hole that lacks a bit of imagination, the 11th, which has an uncharacteristically flat unprotected green (prime for redesign). The par 3s are all around 150yds and stunners, and there’s great use of the contours on the par 4s making for really enjoyable drives (two or three are blind) and second shots to well protected McKenzie greens. Not a course you’ll enjoy if hacking it round (due to rough and trees), but a real joy if playing half decent. Clubhouse fab also, with great snooker table.
Beautiful golf course
Hidden gem absolutely beautiful golf course fantastic views pine Treeline Fairways you will not be disappointed.
Natural beauty at it's finest.
View's was unbelievable.
Every hole on the course apart from the 7th had unbelievable views , when I did a bad tee or shot I looked up and seen the lovely view and it took me away from the shot I took, the course was great, the green where maintained well.
The guy in the pro shop was great help.
We will be back to play another round even though yhere was many hills to climb.
Good hike and good game.
