Very good greens, fairways cut short and good tee boxes

Course was in excellent condition. There is very little rough but plenty of trees lining fairways. This means any errant shots are playable and adds a creative enjoyable element to your shots. The real challenge that protects this course are the greens. Very fast, contoured and again a real pleasure to putt on even if you three putt!
I could not rate off course amenities due to Covid 10

After lockdown, to be out in a stunning parkland course on a quiet Monday afternoon made the soul sing

I'd made a mistake and turned up 1 day ahead of my booking !! Completely my fault. The pro shop allowed me to tee off anyways, phew.

Front 9 has some good long par 4s and is tougher than than then back 9.
Course was in good condition, great greens and plenty of sand in the bunkers.
I'd reccomend for you to play here and I shall return

We play a different course every Saturday across the Midlands and this is the best course this year.

Staff in pro shop rude, making us knowingly wait whilst they make idle chit chat, so we just left and went to the 1st tee.

Greens a bit slow but they are doing work to them (lots of sand on them) but it’s clear the Keeper knows his stuff.....

Shorts no probs ,odd hair ok ,crap golfer yeah come on down .but god forbid if your not wearing white socks with your shorts ,shop chap very kindly gave us both a pair so we could play ...what stupidity for this day and age ,yet they wonder why so many golf course close down ! Old men and women still stuck in their pomposity ,trust me I wanted to enjoy the course but all I could think of was the horror that was to behold me should I decide to change my socks ..death ,an hour in the stocks or maybe make me follow on from the Monday morning seniors (forever waiting in their wings to shout back at me ! Ya socks ya socks, by Jove ya socks young laddy )

Found the tees,fairways and greens in good condition when we played and I’m sure it will get better as the season goes on with the right conditions.
The pro in the shop was very friendly and welcoming. However the bar staff member was a bit surly and needs to work on her customer care . Wouldn’t let it put me off coming back though. Overall good value for money.

Nice course haven’t played it for a while but forgot how nice it is. Some challenging holes, it was in great condition considering weather we have had. Greens ran good too. Definitely go again soon

Best course i have played in Leicestershire so far my favourite by a long way.Great value for money
