Awesome course
We had such a great time. The views are stunning. The layout is demanding. This is a par-69 that can beat you up. The greens were in fine condition. The pace was slow due to a couple foursomes who were struggling. We would definitely play here again.
Great down land course
We are local golfers based at Eastbourne Royal and like to get out to try the local clubs for comparison a few times a year. Seaford is a good testing course with a number of challenging par fours and is always presented in good condition but what made it for us was the condition of the greens. They are simply some the best around. Quick and true and with no evidence of the bird damage we have seen through the leatherjackets on our greens. A pleasure to play with some outstanding views of the local area.
Great value for money and amazing scenery!
Been meaning to play here for a while and finally got the chance on a BH weekend. Tee time booked through Golf Now for £21 which is an absolute bargain for this course. Wind was only 20kph and still made some holes very challenging so god knows what it would be like in Winter. Green were receptive enough and putts rolled true which is all you can ask for.
Some amazing views as you make your way round the course from seven sisters and cuckmere haven to Rafinny wine estate I will definitely be returning to Seaford GC!
Round was spoiled by downpours. Will come back again and try it on a sunny day. Some interesting holes
Excellent condition
Played in the heat wave and really enjoyed the round.
Course is tough for a high handicapper(me) but well worth playing.Greens very quick tee boxes in good nick.
Staff in Pro shop a bit miserable, course martial very friendly.
Superb, high quality course and club
Not to be confused with Seaford Head GC, (which is a fun course, but short, by the way) Seaford GC is one of the best in East Sussex, on a par with Crowborough Beacon, Cooden Beach, Royal Eastbourne, Willingdon and the other top courses in the area. The course and club are maintained to a high standard. The course layout is a very good challenge for players of all handicaps. You’ll do well to play to your handicap here. First class greens. Great views of the sea and the cliffs at Seaford Head.
Great Value
Managed to get the hot deal for £20, course was in good condition considering the heat we’ve had. Greens were great, fairways were dry but that’s expected. Really enjoyable game with some amazing views.
Brads Birthday Round
Course was in excellent condition and the greens quick despite the rain
Great downland course
Played on hot sunny day, fairways a little dry but greens all in tip top condition would highly recommend
Seaford
Brilliant course with greens in excellent condition, could do with a few signs directing you to next tee on a few holes but other than that just great
Challenging course
This is a course for the big hitters. Alot of the par4s are between 380 - 440 yards. Only one par5.
Overall in good condition with plenty of space (not many fore shouts).
Lovely
Seaford he is blessed with two fine golf courses. This course is of a downland nature and enjoys beautiful views across the South Downs and English Channel. it is fairly challenging, particularly when the wind blows. Many balls are lost from slightly wayward tee shots as the rough is quite punishing on many holes. The final three holes are absolute gems, as is the first. While playing the course five times in the last three weeks we found the condition variable. In fairness the greens have obviously been receiving a lot of maintenance and played a lot better than they looked. As mentioned elsewhere some of the bunkers could do with more sand. The pro shop is excellent , with a warm and helpful welcome although we were not members.
This course is most certainly worth a visit and I would strongly suggest those playing its for the first time buy a course guide in the pro shop as there are quite a few holes where you need to know what you can't see!.
Played this course yesterday and found it to be in great condition. The greens were super fast and looking great .
Would play again tomorrow if I could.
