Augusta on Morcambe Bay
Love this course but just like Augusta you need to play it a few times to understand it’s quirky subtleties.
The first 9 has some excellent driving holes, although a few blind shots mean you need to check you lines into well guarded greens.
The back 9 is all about placement on short holes and changes of elevation.
Course was in great condition even after a lot of rain.
Friendly club house too.
Silverdale Golf CourseI
First time playing the course and enjoyed it emensley The greens are emaculate and are a pleasure to put on
The course is challenging and is very hilly and will give u a good work out especially the first 9 holes I would recommend hiring a biggie as it will take it out of you when finishing the round Nice course and very well maintained and very friendly and helpful
Greens best in North West
I play up and down the country and you go long way to beat these Greens. I played there yesterday 03/06/18 and the course was In great condition. Some of the holes are very testing especially the Eighth.
Silverdale GC
Played here about three years ago so thought it time to return. This time the course was dry and in good condition. Well maintained fairways and greens made for a good day.
Holes 2-10 are across the road and not as entertaining as the remainder , back over the railway and road. Not the longest course but if you stray offline you’re in trouble, especially on 1 then 11 onwards. The plateau didn’t destroy my card this time but a challenging hole all the same.
The clubhouse is excellent and I would recommend this course for an all round good day out.
The ups and downs of Silverdale.
An interesting course, with changing levels for tees, fairways and greens. You need stamina and good knees to complete a round, but the satisfaction offsets the fatigue.
What a Lovely Course
Ill be back, the back nine is a bit of a challenge, having said that what a great place to spend the morning great food nice people you should try it I will again soon
What a superb course!
I'd previously read the reviews on their website and noted that everyone was saying what a friendly club it was, they weren't wrong, from the moment we stepped out of the car we got a cheery hello and it continued when we got into the pro shop. The pro was helpful and friendly telling us about the course and giving us tips (which proved to be very helpful!)
As for the course itself what a fantastic round, plenty of fantastic scenery, some tough little holes and some holes to grip it and rip it. 2 very average golfers and we got round in 3 and a half hours, which for us is good.
The course was immaculate, the greens were well kept and the fairways looked fantastic.
I'll definitely be coming back to play here again.
First time on this course.
Most enjoyable game at Silverdale. The back nine more interesting and testing than front nine. Lovely setting and well worth a trip.
Good round of golf on picturesque course
Beautiful course with some challenging, tight holes. Course was in good condition considering the amount of rain that had fallen and greens were well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar is fairly expensive.
The course has some interesting features
Playing the course for the first time was good the layout is a little confusing as you play the first two holes the go through a tunnel to play the next eight holes which look as if they are a new addition with out a lot of defining features could of done with a hole by hole booklet.when you get back through the tunnel it gets a lot better with a difficulty of approach to the greens. Overall enjoyed the experience the only downside is that it is very hilly

Nice Course
I'd not played here before and didn't know what to expect. The course was in good condition for the time of year, we had to use a small mat to play shots from the fairway, I prefer preferred lies or teeing up on the fairway.
Most of the tee boxes were temporary winter tees but there were no winter greens in use.
On many of your tee shots you are hitting blind as you cannot see the green that you are hitting towards, having not played here before I was hitting in hope on occasion rather than a certainty of where I was going.
The course itself though is very interesting with several raised greens, it is quite undulating with a lot of up and down work for your legs.
Overall a nice course that is well kept.
