Decent Course
Course in good condition, greens very good. Tees need a bit of work. Enjoyable game - will play again soon.
Value for money
Excellent course for average handicap golfers.
Greens very true, bunkers need to be stripped of stones to avoid damage to clubs.

This was a great course to play, with nice views over the Thames estuary. If you’re looking to play around the dartford area it’s a good course to choose.
Great value
I have played southern valley for many years but not in the last year or so , I played today and the course was in great condition with lots of work done also the clubhouse has had a re vamp and looks great and comfortable and also met with a Freindly young man who served us overall I would recommend .
Excellent links style course
Really enjoyed our round at Southern Valley. An authentic links style course with undulating fairways, big greens, pot bunkers and many blind shots into greens due to the mounds if you’re not careful. Really great challenge. The course was in good condition - greens were moderate speed. All of the par 3s are great. Play was fast - we got round in just over 3 hours which is very rare (our morning tee time - 9-20am - probably helped in that respect). Good practice facilities and friendly staff in the club house.
Pleasantly surprised
We were surprised of how good the condition of the course was with the greens being some of the best I've seen. The bunkers were in brilliant condition and even though it felt very much like a public course on arrival the conditions and staff were fantastic. I think the recent rain has helped the course! We will definitely play here again!
