Qirky

Nice quirky course, met some very welcoming members but the loop of two 9's does back play up a little. Great greens.

Gem of a course!

Played this course on a great value early morning hot deal. We may have been the first group of art 8 o'clock as it was quiet. The friendly greenkeeper helped us out with the cards.
As a two ball we made quick progress. Conditions were hot and the course looked spectacular and was in great condition. We had great views of the town also. The courses is challenging with some testing par fives and fairly tight fairways. After playing the front nine we dovetailed into the later starters which worked out fine. Golf tip - I found my 4 iron the most useful club as accuracy is important.
Overall the round took 3 and three quarter hours, so pretty quick. The clubhouse is nice and we had a good pint after. All highly recommended.

Sunny Day at Southwold

We arrived early and were greeted warmly in the pro shop. We went into the club as we has time to kill we were also treated very warmly here and had a lovely sausage baguette and chips which was extremely good value. My husband had played here several times before so we were very aware of the walkers on the course, but they were either very good at letting us through or vice versa. The weather was fantastic, the views were fantastic and would definately recommend and indeed go here again.
