Hilly

Lovely staff very helpful in the club shop and lovely barmaid after now to the course!! Very hilly up and down lot of elevated tees my playing partner has had previous health issues so this really didn't help him with the amount of hills. Some lovely holes tee boxes need a trim tho but all in all a nice course

Incredibly challenging course!

Don't be decieved by the short yardages and low par, this course, particularly the back 9 plays over a great amount of elevation changes increasing the difficulty of the holes by a great magnitude.

The staff, and club captain were incredibly hospitable towards us, as visitors on our first visit, and will definitely be returning in the future, hopefully on a day when the wind doesn't add to the already difficult nature of this course!

Proper test of golf

Course was in excellent condition for the time of year. Many different shots required with strong breeze blowing. Outstanding views from several of the elevated tees. Very friendly clubhouse staff. Will definitely be back in the summer.

Course has great views fantastic location

The fence at the back of the 18th is not high enough and when returning to my car after my round the windscreen had been hit resulting in me having to pay 400 pounds for it to be replaced. Sad end to a good day's golf. I hope this can be addressed so that this doesn't happen again.

Great course

Though I'd try the course as not too far away, so wanted to tick it off. Super friendly staff and members. Challenging course with some great holes and amazing views. Great food in the clubhouse after the round will definitely be back

.

Told to tuck in our shirts whilst still stood in the car park, followed round by the green keeper. Royston vasey 'this is a local shop for local people' kind of vibes. Buggy £5 more than advertised.

A pleasant return

Played the course after a thirty year absence and was pleasantly surprised. Course in good condition considering the time of year, greenstaff were busy preparing for the season ahead. Off course staff were very helpful, giving me a map of the course and a pen !
The course although short is no push over, the yardage may be short for modern courses but the small underlating greens provide some defence as well as the weather conditions you could possibly encounter. Considering you need to have one leg longer than the other, the course is not for those who may need to hit the gym.
Overall areally enjoyable round. Will be returning especially for the price I paid, £16 , a bargain

Really enjoyable round

Had a great morning at this very steep in places course. The views at the higher holes are worth the trek though. It was a bitterly cold morning and there was still some frost about which later made the ground a little boggy... not everywhere. Some tricky little holes and some really inviting elevated tees asking for big drives back towards the club house. Will definitely play here again. Some holes pretty compacted next to each other and a few cross over each other also. But overall nice short 18 holes.
