Very good very nice 👍🏼
Considering it rained the whole day pretty much, the course was in good condition. For a public course, it's very good. A few puddles, as expected with the amount of rain that day, but it was good to play. I had my first ever birdie too. Will definitely be coming here more often.
Lovely public course
Played Stockwood Park at short notice as the weather was deteriorating later in the week. Knew it was a public course but had no problems booking a tee time.
Pace was initially slow but allowed to play through, as a two ball we finished in just over the 3hr mark.
Greens were much better than expected having played some other local courses the week before.
Nice food and drink after in the 19th.
Lovely Course
Lovely course with a wide variety of interesting holes. Always in great condition. Suitable for high handicappers but also challenging enough for low handicappers. The pace of play can get a bit slow when it is busy.
Great course for higher handicaps
with a high chance of getting a respectable score if your a beginner like myself.
I’ve played on a few decent courses but this one always gets me excited to come back.
Immaculate tee area, fairways and greens.
Most of the par 4/5 s are quite forgiving.
Par 3s are quite challenging.
Greens are stunning.
The staff here are really friendly.
Decent breakfast and a lovely pint.
Although I’ve played here a few times and the flags and cups have been stolen the security could do with improveding but that’s what you get with a public course with scumbags living near by.
Just a shame it’s in Luton !
Not busy on a Saturday
Well kept course wens and fairways in good condition. Easy to lose balls in long rough if a little off target. Almost had the course to ourselves on a hot Saturday afternoon!
Nice course but noisy
Greens and fairways were good considering the time of year. Pace of plays was very good its a longish course but I completed it in three and half hours. The course would benefit from short part 3's. Too many log par 4's.
But it was still a very enjoyable fast round only really spoilt by the constant noise of the M1.
Wet but enjoyable round
Very wet conditions but enjoyed my time at this golf course.
The course is well set out and as it was the first time I played here was easy to navigate.
Have recommended to a friend and will be back again
Lovely greens
Its December, its hard to review given the weather, but the greens are really good. Some fairways very muddy , but thats the season.
Excellent value for money
Good condition & playing well
Course was in good condition, with the greens being very consistent in their speed.
Good course for the money, which i think would be higher of not for the planes overhead and the M1 noise making it a loud expirience.
Not much variation on holes.
Apart from a very interesting 18th hole the rest 3,4,5 holes were all very similar. A couple of the later holes did have a pronounced slope across the fairway which made them slightly more challenging. The greens were in excellent condition and running very true. The extended drought had parched all the grass but could not fault the condition of the fairways. If you are a plane spotter you will enjoy the course. A nice clubhouse but was closing at 1600hrs on Monday- Thursday.
Good price and a good course for higher handicap golfers.
Decent.
Nice place to play. Conditions were excellent. Am seriously considering joining fir next year.
