Stunning
A friend and I booked a hot deal to play here for the first time ever on our way home to Hampshire after a couple of days at the Belfry.
I have to be honest, this venue was more impressive than the Brabazon and PGA courses.
Given recent awful weather in the UK we were unsure what conditions would be like and if there were any restrictions. No issues at all. All 18 holes open with no temps. Very good tee boxes, bunkers in a good state, mostly dry fairways and rapid greens. The layout was interesting and variety of holes exciting to play, with some lovely views.
The female staff member we spoke to was welcoming and friendly, and gave good advice.
I’m hoping I get an opportunity to visit here again in the near future as we were very impressed with everything. No negatives at all. Nothing bad to say
Course was in fantastic condition
Great course, great facilities, superb value for money.
Great course
Played here for the first time.
Kind staff and wonderful green and fairways.
I played with hot deal and it was great over all.
good course
Always in good condition, greens great.
Just very slow had to stop at 13th unfortunately - nearly 4 hours
Excellent golf course
Studley Wood Golf Culb has excellent 18 holes(par 73) with an extra par 5 hole. I had several rounds on this course this year, the green and fairway condition was excellent.
Beautiful course
Had a fabulous round helped out by the sunshine but the course was in immaculate condition. Pretty challenging drives in a few holes and definitely some tricky approaches with deep bunkers with sleeper walls that I seemed to bring into play.
Studley wood
All I can say is fantastic course everything was fantastic greens , fairways , the whole course . And very friendly on front desk he gave lots of information. Will definitely be playing here again
fantastic place to play
very kind welcoming and all courses are so perfect to enjoy it! money for value is also very acceptable! will play again!! and also, ken who is captain of this golf course, he is really fantastic guy!!
perfect
perfect and beautiful course, but very challenging!
i do love this place.
Very nice course
Fairways were excellent with no puddles or worm casts despite recent heavy rain. The greens were fast and weed-free, but suffered from foot prints and spike marks as they were very soft.
Excellent greens, well worth playing on a deal
Studley is well worth playing. Greens were superb, even more so given the extreme hot weather recently. Standard green fee is a bit expensive, but on a deal (we played twighlight) there is plenty of interest. Very warm welcome in the Clubhouse. On standard green fees you can play approx 3 rounds at Oxford GC for every 2 at Studley, so with equally good greens Oxford is perhaps better value in my mind.
