Great course ..
some very nice holes, played in a club match and played a decent draw, the open heathland layout made for great golf

Traditional fast running heathland

The course was everything I expected from website pictures, and on line reviews etc. Pleasant sunny day in May 2018, fairways were running fast, and greens very quick. Will be scary quick in June/July!

Any wayward shots were recoverable quite easily, the course staff did a great job of not making rough areas too difficult. I would suggest most players would be able to shoot a reasonable score, and a good score if on form. Only slight negative was no towels in changing room for a refreshing shower.

A real gem!

Professional staff & members were all very helpful and welcoming.I would have scored 5 stars across the board but greens maintenance was taking place( verti draining) it had been many years since I had last played there. I won’t be leaving it as long for my next visit. A great heathland course.

stuck up, unwelcoming, expensive

Nice course, told by dog walking member not to wreck their greens! No women allowed in the bar. Not enough parking. Terrible practice green. Too expensive. Basically old school golf that survives on old members paying elevated price in privileged location
