A very enjoyable round of golf

Saturday lunchtime round in dry weather warm and breezy. Easy to find and plenty of parking although course not busy as we went off about 20 minutes early. Friendly and professional welcome led to first hole an epic downhill. First impression was of quality. Nice fairway and immaculate green. This carried on for the whole round. Not a course that the high handicapper will find too challenging but some holes make you think. Some bunkers a little lacking in sand perhaps is the single criticism. Otherwise absolutely lovely course. Thoroughly recommended.

Temple Golf Club

What a course!!. By far the best I have played in UK and I play weekly at various affordable courses... The customer service, the fairways, bunkers, greens and even the tee boxes, were excellent!!!

I can't think of a negative comment except for the OB on the 18th hole which caused me to lose my game!!!

Hot & Hilly

Once we found it, our fault not theirs we were sutibly impressed that the car park was full.
Weent to the Pro shop to check-in and was given a very warm welcome by the pro and he explained the direction of the course and the fact that once you leave the 1st tee, 'you don't return until the 18th green'.
(This was good to know, because it was such a warm day we stocked up on drinks).
There are however 2 points were water fountains are available. I can't remember the exact locatons. Sorry.
We asked if we could buggy but unfortunately they were all booked and there was a problem with the chargers.
We set off to the first tee a little late, but no-one seemed to mind.
It is a very downhill Par 4 which we both parred, a good start.
It's not a flat course by any means but aoart from the 1st downhill there aren't any real inclines as such. I don't walk and I don't do hills as a rule but I found it bearable.
The 10th is a bit strange a 200+ yard Par 3, we couldn't see the flag, even though it was elongated the green is in such a dip that we had to walk to the edge of the precipice to see it. (I parred this hole, should of been a birdie, lol).
The advertised walk-up price of £45 is too much, we got it for £19 each which was magnificent, thanks to LMG for this.
An enjoyable day on a new course for us both. We will revisit, pre-order abuggy and when it's not so hot.

Scenic rolling courtyside

A very pretty course, set in rolling courtyside. this is an energetic walk if the pace is kept up. The course was in great shape, the greens quite fast and it played short due to the good weather and dry conditons. All the staff and members were very welcoming and friendly. A good day out.

Okay but a little mundane

A nice enough little course in good nick and with some pretty views, but there are several fiddly, short Par 4s and it is hard to feel like you are developing any kind of rhythm. Not for me...

What a friendly atmosphere

I played this course as a group of three. Unfortunately the weather was atrocious and whilst there was some standing water, the course generally was in good nick all considered.

We were greeted warmly on arrival and again on finishing the round by the club pro.

It is definitely a course I will be returning to during the warmer months as it has some beautifully sculpted holes.
