The Bristol Golf Club - Championship Course

I have played ghere a few times and very much like the good attitude in the Pro Shop and helpfulness,
The course is quite challenging in parts and knowledge of it an advantage.

Very friendly and helpful Pro Shop.
Course layout very good and varied.
Greens perfect albeit slow.

Friendly staff , well located but conditions because of the dry weather quite testing. Tee boxes rough , fairways ok and greens very good.

Quite a tough course especially the start and because of the dry weather ball tending to run a long way and not always predictably. Tees a bit bare in parts but unsurprising and greens in pretty good condition but had been recently sanded.
Lovely views and a good test of golfing skills topped off with a fantastic club sandwich and pint of beer very welcome!

Layout is excellent with some great holes. Finishing 3 are super. Tee boxes and greens a bit scruffy but well worth a round. Played as a two ball and appreciated two four balls letting us through very quickly with good grace.

Good course in our current dry conditions. Friendly staff and well paced round for our group of 4.

Golfing on a sunny bank holiday is alway great but finding this on tee off times at £13.50 each was a real gem! Teeing just after lunch on bank holiday Monday, the course was very quiet. There was some work being done on a couple of holes but we were pre-warned about that so we didn’t mind. The layout is ok, some holes are a bit “quirky” but overall I cannot complain - very enjoyable, fully recommend it and will definitely be playing there again soon! One piece of advice I would give - save lots of water for the climb to the 18th tee!

Lovely course, greens were superb just a shame my golf didn't match the day..
Some cracking holes to play and some really challengers. Loved it.

Had a great round excellent course in great condition. Only downside was the greens today very bumpy in places the ball was hopping and skipping all over the place.

Good course layout, great views and well paced round. The one area noted by our 3-ball was the greens were quote varied in pace but other than this extra challenge The Bristol provides a great value for money game of golf.

This is a well maintained course with a good variety of holes. The third is fantastic - a par four dogleg from a very elevated tee.
My partner had a knee injury and couldn't walk the course - we were surprised to find out how expensive buggies were (£25) compared to other courses. A small gripe though as the course was friendly and really good fun.

This was first time playing here with a friend from work we teed off at half 5 On the 11th we reached a 4 ball at 7pm last night, who refused to let us through even though we were waiting for them every shot. Disgusting behaviour really. I had been warned some of the members here need to take a look at themselves. It's put me off returning shame cos it's a seriously challenging course

you need a driver buggy, if not you will very tired to walk play the golf

After the first hole I thought this was going to be average. How wrong!! When you get to the third tee, wow!! What a course. Fantastic course lay out with a great test of course management. The view over the course an Severn bridges is simply beautiful. I played in September in lovely weather so not sure what condition the course would be in the wetter months with the rain coming down the hill but lovely when I played and well maintained. The four of us thought it was amazing and we are definetly returning.. Play this course it's a great test.
