Greens worse than pitch and putt. Holes no grass bobbles.

Tee boxes un kept longer than some rough.

Highly advise to avoid. Would get a redund if poss.

The course layout is interesting and challenging and the course plays long because the ground is soft. We played in mid June so the fairways were lush, if a little fluffy. The greens however really let the Course down. Every green is diseased and uneven. The members we spoke to told us that works were planned to improve the greens. If the greens were nice, then this would be a nice little course.

We had some food in the clubhouse. The clubhouse is basic but the food is pretty good and the hosts were friendly.

This course is in a terrible state. Needs extreme work to make it worth the money they are asking to play on this terrible course. Greens have no grass on, fairways are same length as the rough. However bunkers have sand in so there is one positive!

Played here today, probably the worst course in UK at present, fairways non existent, same length as rough, also cracks in fairways hardly any grass, greens no grass holes everywhere patches of mud cracks in ground, tried to put ball straight hit bumps and shot off left or right, worst I have ever played. Also two temp greens appeared which were not told about, flag just stuck in middle of fairway in a hole. Played nine hole course on Haven caravan site in August,, that was in better condition. Feel sorry for any members there what a waste of money. You may have guessed won't be going back there. Club should be closed for at least six months and some money spent on course. Please don't waste your money paying to play here.

Must be one of the most unkept course. Greens full of moss. Teed uneven and fairways well the slightly shorter grass than the rough not good. There in middle of day not a green keeper seen at all so glad didn't pay fill price.

Surprised when we turned up by the lack of club shop, can buy lake balls at the bar but that's it. We also had a problem with the staff regarding having booked through tee-off-times, they wouldn't honour our tee time as it hadn't been made directly with them. Luckily we were able to tee off earlier than that slot anyway, a group behind us weren't so lucky and were told it would be a half hour wait.

First hole was playing a temporary green which was very disappointing given how dry it is, wasn't even a cut temp green just a hole in the fairway.
Fairways were reasonable, bump and very fast but that's to be expected given the weather. Greens were very mossy and cracked, generally bad condition.
The 12th green was almost flooded as it had just been watered.
On the 13th we tee'd off to find that the greenkeeper was on the green watering it, he wouldn't acknowledge us or move the hoses so we could play the hole which was really disappointing, we had to skip it and move on. The next hole had all the sprinklers on which had totally flooded the green, it was underwater in several places. I've never seen this sort of thing being done during normal playing hours, even at a pay and play course.

It's a nice course, not too difficult, but because of the condition and the work being done as we were playing we won't be returning.

We booked a 3 ball at the last minute through this app. The course is in terrible condition. The fairway grass is long and it's difficult to tell the difference between the fairway and the rough. Where it has been cut, the grass cuttings haven't been collected so they are all over the fairway. The greens have holes in which have been dug by rabbits or other wildlife. The greens are patchy but surprisingly run quite true. The bunkers look like bomb craters, they hadn't been raked and were untidy. Really disappointing as it could be a great course. The holes look interesting and well laid out. The course needs major investment. We booked to play a full round but quit after 9 holes (the first time I have quit a round in 21 years of playing). We understand it is cheap but thought we were getting a bit of a deal. For a bank holiday Monday, the course was very very quiet. There is no pro shop. There are changing rooms and a bar. You pay your green fees at the bar. The staff are friendly. I'm sorry to say that until improvements are made it's a waste of time and money.

Friendly staff but course was very wet and fairways not cut so very long. We lost many balls, even in the fairways! Such a shame, as it is potentially a nice course, but suggest don't go unless there has been a very long dry spell before.

Played this course for the first time today. The layout of the course is very good really creative holes however the actual condition was poor. 90% of bunkers out of play greens in terrible condition covered in moss. Driving range was very basic horrible balls to use got 50 balls and 13 of them were cracked and broken. Overall rating 5/10. With a bit of money and care could be a lovely place to play

Course was brilliant and the fairways and greens were cut really great had a great game and enjoy my day the locals and the staff are really friendly

Very good course, just needs some work on the bunkers. Had read other reviews adn thought was going to be not good at all but the greens were in good condition. thoroughly enjoyed it.

This course has some really interesting holes using water, woodland and terrain cleverly. It is a lovely setting to be in. However, although a big improvement from last year, the greens are not to the standard of surrounding courses. Very few bunkers with sand despite being told on booking that 'a few are GUR'. Building work continuing on the club and pro shop and range closed on arrival. Still all a bit sad.

they need to get a green keeper that looks after the course also get the BUNKERS sort out as they are still out of play . very boggy due to lack of drainage

A good test for any standard with some difficult holes. Greens in excellent condition. Bunkers in need of some work although probably will be sorted once work on upgrading the clubhouse has been finished. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere and an overall Enjoyable Round
