Tidbury Green Golf Club

Overall a challenging course, but the greens need a little more care , a bit rough in places .

It has been very difficult to rate this venue as the criteria only goes down to poor !
To say that we were disappointed is a massive understatement.
The course and its facilities bore absolutely no resemblance to reality.
The range with its power tees no longer exists and the course itself was in such a ramshackle and decrepit state that you could easily lose your ball on the greens let alone the overgrown and unkempt fairways .
At times it was impossible to distinguish the course from the surrounding fields !!
Clearly the course website and other descriptions used need to be radically updated although from speaking to a worker at the building site (posing as the clubhouse) the owners have sold up to developers so any update would be a waste of time ?
Perhaps the best "review" of this course was from the golfers who arrived as we were finishing . They drove in , had a brief look round and promptly drove off again ..........a very wise choice . A refund of our green fees would be most welcome ??

Played early on a Saturday in December and the conditions were very good. Greens ran surprisingly well and were in good condition.

Not the most challenging course with 4 of the 9 holes driveable if you can hit 250+ (two par fours are sub 230). Means that 8 holes when you play 18 are really quite short. Undulating greens were the most impressive part of the course, not easy and made you think
