Messed around

We booked Tiverton as our final round of a golf weekender.
Based in Falmouth we had played two fantastic courses with no issues.
At 9.15am on the day of our game and Tiverton I received a phone call stating that there was a mix up with a competition, our tee time was to be pushed back to 1.30pm, great we thought, take our time cleaning and packing.
At 10.20am I then received another call informing me that pur original tee time of 12.30pm was to stand as there has been mixed communication.
This was a little concerning as I had paid for the four ball and we were still in Falmouth, 2.5hrs away.

Upshot is, we made it to Tiverton. Got put about 12.50pm
Was pushed by the comp all round. Felt hurried and harrased due to the two phone calls.
Incompetent staff or management to blame.

Excellent example of a James Braid course

Excellent course in fabulous condition.
What it lacks in rough, it makes up with trees. Trees are everywhere and you will do well to avoid them.
It's well laid out and even though I didn't find it particularly long, it's definitely a challenge.
I found the members to be particularly welcoming and friendly and I'll be back on my next Devon trip.
