Course should of been closed
The back 9 was closed due to water logging, so we played the front 9 twice. In fairness I was called first thing in the morning to be advised that the back 9 was closed. My opinion is that the front 9 should also have been closed as the fairways were the sane length as the rough so every shot was like playing from the rough! Tee boxes were in good nick as were the greens. Played here several times before and will play again but they need to bite the bullet and close the course when it is clearly unplayable
Very golf frozen day
-5 sweatier conditions and a low sun made for a different experience. Not something I’ve played in before with the ice covering every green and tee box. But made for a thought provoking strategic round.
Afternoon in the sun
Greens are obviously being cared for despite the hot sticky weather..rough has dropped back and much more playable
A well maintained course
Returned for the 1st time this year and the course played really well given the constant wet weather recently. Predictably the fairways had no roll out and the greens were slow in pace but nevertheless the ground staff have done a superb job in maintaining the course and overall the condition was excellent.
I will most certainly return again
A Lovely Course
The enjoyable round of golf was slightly spoilt by two slow 4 balls in front of us. Maybe a course marshal would help?
Despite the the recent weather the course was in good condition. There was a lot of people clearing low hanging branches and scrub in the rough areas between fairways which was good to see.
All the staff were polite, friendly and professional.
We will return
Fourball
Played a fourball 0n 18.04.2023. All four of us are good golfers so are relatively quick playing but on this occasion we had a three ball in front of us which consisted of two players that didn't look like that they had played before.!! I understand that everyone needs to learn but a trip down to the driving range a few times before going onto a course to play would help. 4 1/2 to 5 hours to play 18 holes at this course just isn't exceptable and also need to learn golf etiquette.
Value for money
Is a nice corse fairways suffering from pore drainage but think it would be a very nice round on summer
Poor conditions
The rough was in better condition than then fairways and the greens were very bumpy.
Overall very poor conditions considering the quality of other courses nearby
tudor park
played about 11.30 and was really quite, fairway need cutting and where very muddy which made it difficult to fine your ball, even on the fairway, it didn't help the sun was very strong in you face.
usual 3 young lads didn't notice they where holding me and a 2 ball up but it was half term.
greens where pretty good for this time of the year.
Muddy Fairways
Had a two ball booked with a friend, was looking forward to the round. Practice facilities were all good, used the range. The starter set us off, and it was apparent after the first drive that the fairways were in terrible condition, more mud than grass unfortunately, so made playing off them tough. Greens were in good condition, but unfortunately the lack off grass on fairways ruined the game.
Good but not the best off course facilities
Good course overall but the facilities let it down such as food etc (not much choice went to pub down road for food), snacks to take round between us 6 chocolate bars cane to £13
Bad Day tonplay
Unfortunately we played on the 28th December 22.
It was not a good day to play golf with the rain and wind.
The course was very wet and boggy so did not see it at its best.
Also found going from green to tee quite confusing.
Will return when the weather is better.
A little boggy, but I've played worse
No trollies allowed when we visited (27th Dec) but I understand why. There were a few places on the course that were a bit of a bog, so it made sense there were no trollies... it would have been a mud bath otherwise. The greens were good, and the overall the course played quite well for winter golf. And for £20 per tee, it's great value for money.
