Course under partial reconstruction

We've played the course before and had looked forward to paying it again, but didn't know when booking this round that the normal 17th & 18th holes are undergoing some sort of remodelling and can't be played.
They're replaced by two temporary par 3s with other holes shortened to accommodate them so that there are now 6 par 3s and three par 5s under 500 yards

17/18 holes are getting re-built.

The course were lovely but you won't to play the full course.were as the 17/18 are getting re-built. Which I would say were the best two holes on the course. But booking online got a good deal but no information about the two holes getting built.

Disappointed!

I have played Wetherby many times and always enjoyed it so when a friend invited me to play it today I jumped at the chance! That's were my excitement ends. We had to tee off mats apart from the 18th and temp greens were in use even though the weather has been reasonably good for this time of year. I wouldn't have minded if we had been told beforehand! The overall condition of the course was poor by wetherby's usual standard. I will play it again but i will be asking questions next time before I part with my money.

lovely course

Lovely course, especially beautiful from the first tee. Play was a little slow as the course was very busy so sometimes felt a little rushed due to groups behind. Members were lovely that we spoke to and the course is in excellent condition, very well looked after.

We didn't use the clubhouse as when we look on the website their dresscode seemed strict and we didn't meet their attire requirements. Perhaps nthey would have let us in no problem as we didn't ask but their website was enough to pout us noff which was a shame as we may have stayed for lunch and coffee.

This course will reward you for paying your green fee.

I really enjoyed playing Wetherby and not for the first time because its local to me. I travel to play many courses and from those experiences I can compare standards. As a result I warmly recommend Wetherby to both locals and golfers from further away. With long challenging par 4's and elevated par3's set by the river this easy walking course is a joy to play.
