Good course, good greens and some excellent but tough par 3's. Some friendly banter with the ex-captain too!
Lovely course
Would recommend this lovely course.
Tee's where good, fairway excellent & green where good, a little patchy in places but a few more weeks should see them improve.
Some very challenging par 3's, you'd better get your long irons out for them.
Overall a excellent course, something for every type of golfer.
One down side I wouldn't recommend the breakfast, lacking one vital ingredient
Fantastic course
Excellent course layout very testing especially the back nine and the four par threes
Lovely area and members and staff very friendly
Testing course
This is a good course that requires a lot of accuracy if you don't hit a straight shot on a lot of holes you will lose your ball with ease, although not a long course a good test of golf.
Must Play!
Great course layout and a good number of scenic holes in good condition and surprisingly hilly! Relatively short but a stern test for most mid - high handicappers and the greens were quite fast and true. For clubhouse think cafeteria rather than bar/restaurant, but had everything we required for after round refreshments. All in all excellent value for money and look forward to playing it again.
Good course. Would recommend
New to the area and never tried any local courses. This one looked good on the site and good value for money.
Pro room a little small and not much equipment to browse around. However, staff were very friendly, in particular Andy who booked me in. He gave me a good incite into the course and what hazards to look out for.
First 9 steady away. Long par 3's to test you. Second 9 harder but more pleasant surroundings - tree lined fairways etc - bring your A game.
Course in great condition. Very much enjoyed the round and will definitely be back.
Closed bar
Excellent welcome in the pro shop, very helpful and friendly. Millionaires golf as barely saw anyone on the course, which was in good condition. Not the longest with many short par 4's countered by challenging long par 3's. All together very good value, only downside being the closed bar although it was a Monday at 4.30pm!
Will definitely return in the summer.

The greens on the course are good however not much undulation not many hazards on a calm day an easy course to par hc 14 stray off the fairways and it's easy to loose balls.
Great Par 3's and scenery
The par 3's are splendid and challenging. Hole 11 is a joy and outstanding layout.
Greens were in good condition, hard to judge the speed. Had a great round even if my numbers didn't say so?
Great value, good challenge
Good :
Course has a nice variety of holes which vary in difficulty, some you can smash at without too much trouble, others require a lot more respect and can leave you in real trouble.
Value for money is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful.
Greens are in good condition even in wet weather
Less good:
Some parts of the course can get very muddy in the wet, this is the only course where Ive managed to bury a ball over a foot into the ground!
Play can be slow sometimes, it's a tricky course in places and higher handicap players can easily get in too much trouble to recover from.
Some really tough par 3s
Considering the weather conditions the course was in good nick. All greens in play. The majority of courses were closed because of the weather
General condition of the course
Considering all the rain we have had of late the general condition of the Course was very good . No winter tees or greens were in play and it was not lift clean and place on the fairways. The course I am a member of suffers significantly from the wet weather so it was a pleasant change not to have to play off mats and wear my waterproofs. Would definitely recommend playing it in the winter.
nice course
apart from the frost on the ground it was a nice course to play. flags on main greens which was good. we will defo play it next summer
Well worth playing
Played it for the first time and thought it had a good lay out, some great par 3's especially on the back nine. The course was in good condition for the time of year and the greens were fairly quick, will play here again next summer
Fantastic par 3s
Again a great visit to this course, really tough par 3s and par 4s need to be respected.
Hidden Gem
Great course right next to M60, front 9 lulls you into a false sense of security as the holes are not overlong for average hitters. Back 9 can be brutally long from the whites. Course in great condition, fairways lush and freshly mown, greens in good condition. Quite hilly especially around the turn, overall a fantastic experience. Will be playing this one again!
