Willingdon GC
Great value for money on a hot deal. A very pleasant greeting from the pro in the pro-shop. The pro was very helpful. I have played this course on several occasions and it was in great shape from tee to green. The greens are always in great condition tbh where the ball always runs true. It’s no surprise that my putts-per-round is always lower on this course. The only slight negative is that there are some holes that cross-cross so you have to have your wits about you. Overall, excellent though.
Tough track for mid to high handicaps
Nice course, well maintained and varied. Tough track for an average golfer though. Fast and tricky greens too
Greens very bumpy
Have played here plenty of times before and although I scored my best score here I felt the greens were not in the usual excellent condition I felt they were very bumpy but playable

Great course, if not a little hilly, but in excellent condition especially given the time of year. Challenging course but good fun.

If walking… must be fit
Very nice course and in excellent conditions. It is hilly.! Having a trolley be prepared to push it up and down. You play golf and do an excellent aerobic! !
Oops too many societies
Great course, lovely condition. 4 hours for 14 holes. Walked in and filled my face with some good food. I will return, hopefully with no more 10 minute waits on some tees. Will check with the booking staff next time.
Excellent, challenging (hilly!) course
Lovely course with fairways and greens in fantastic condition. Don’t be deceived by the relatively short yardage on the scorecard as the endless hills and tricky approach shots make this a challenging course.
There are some fantastic elevated tees and stunning views including some to the coast and see. Highly recommended, just be prepared for tired legs and probably a few lost balls!
Downs Gem
Beautiful course nestling in glorious countryside. In great condition - especially the greens. Really enjoyed playing here and will definitely be returning soon

only the second time i've played here but always a pleasure, great facilities, stunning well maintained course. Staff are warm, friendly & helpful.

Great Introduction to Willingdon GC
Great layout. Great condition for the time of the year. Good value for money. Only negative comment would be that the pro shop was shut. Not sure if the assistant was at lunch!
Royal St George’s Golf Package
I am a member of the highwoods in Bexhill and could not believe how bad the greens at Willingdon were. Some of the worst I have played. Putting was a complete lottery
