Excellently kept parkland course

We played around 9am, just before a competition the same day. The course was in brilliant condition, with the greens on the back nine rolling even better than the front.

The course is not too long nor is it too tricky. There are trees lining the fairways but for someone who hits it 250+ off the tee, there is little to punish you going onto another adjacent fairway. If your short game is good around here, you can go low!

It's a really fun course to play and the staff we great with us too. Will definitely play again.

Course extremely wet due to heavy overnight rainfall, winter tees in most places but all greens were open which was a bonus.
Course was free in front and we maintained distance from the 3 ball behind despite the rain.
Had a welcome coffee and bacon butty afterwards in the clubhouse

Leaves on the course

Far too many large areas of leaves,I know it's November but some of these patches were old dried up leaves not newly dropped. 4.5 hours for a four ball isn't too bad but that half hour was taken up searching for lost balls in leaves, not acceptable in my book and I'm sure the two ball behind us didn't appreciate it either. These leaves should be cleared every other day at least and there wouldn't be a problem, other than that the course was great

Good Course - Slow Play

Great course for the money paid and well worth a visit but when a 4hr round only gets you to the 15th hole be prepared for a long day.

We walked off after 15 holes, but we could have kept gong, just some of us had to be places.

Go there and enjoy, maybe it was just our day for a slow round.
