Workingyon 2019
Workington is a course our group usually play twice a year and is well worth the hours drive, It has a good mixture of holes ans has good facilities.It is well laid out with some tricky greens.

Great day out
The course has challenging holes being well bunkered.
Well defined fairways with penal semi-rough; an area to keep out of. Greens were good and the whole course was presented in good form.
Bar staff were friendly and very accommodating and the clubhouse looked fresh and inviting.

1st Time
Been wanting to play this course for a while. Upon arrival had a bit of a mooch about, It has got practice driving range area, practice putting area. 2 air line machines to clean trolley wheels etc. Facilities from what i saw where excellent, fully stocked Pro Shop, changing room facilities etc.
The full course had winter tees and greens, so course played at least 1 shot lower that par per hole. Course well laid out good map on each tee. It was a cold clear day ice was on the ground, ground was rock solid, so that proved challenging. In all a very nice course and will be back on a warmer day to play the full greens.
