If they ever finish this place... Look Out!
This is a partially built golf course, so you have to know that going in. Once you set your expectations properly you might have a really good time! the holes that are carved into the landscape are well thought out and a challenge depending on the tees you select. the greens offer bail out opportunities but also some danger depending on pin placement. If this place ever finishes construction I think it'll challenge the Makefield Highlands type better-run places. Unfortunately, it's been years since they initially dug ground and it remains to be seen if this place will be swept away by the nationally felt anxiety towards the future of golf-course building. It's a shame, this could be a GEM.
Great winter course, will play again
First time playing at Heritage creek.
9 holes was just right for a winter afternoon.
Good pricing and the course was in good shape considering all the snow that just melted last week.
I will play again and I already recommended it to my son . We will play there soon.
Great 9 hole course
Finished under 2 hours. In and out golf. Very affordable. No range or practice facilities. Just a net by the first tee. It’s that kind of local- fast golf with the buddies.
Great 9 hole course
Heritage Creek is a pretty great 9-hole course. The course is generally very well maintained - nice fairways and tee boxes, and the greens are pretty well maintained also. I will say the greens are very tough to read and are inconsistent with regard to speed.
The course layout is interesting as it transitions from a wooded arboreal course for the first three four holes into more of a links style course for holes 5-9.
Pace of play can be a problem here. Groups tend to play very slow and I’ve never once seen marshal to move things along.
Overall though, Heritage is a good 9-hole track that is 100% worth a play.
Nice to have a 9 hole course in the neighborhood
The course is 9 holes with water, sand and hills . Good course for serious players and family's. Caters to level of players.
Slow play
Like the course and layout, but there’s no one Out enforcing slow play and cart path only. It was wet so there was cart path only. There have been some improvements in the course but some of the greens and tee boxes needed some maintenance. Took us a long time to finish our nine holes. It was only two of us.
Best 9 & Getter Better
2 hours of relaxing golf on very good conditions from tee to green. Not overbooked so no pressure behind us and no waiting ahead of us. Good deal online and easy to book.
Nice staff, painful round
Conditions awful - greens beat up, not cut nor rolled. Pace of play brutal (2.5 hrs for 9)
A deer pasture to knock a ball around on a good day - served its purpose...
Just OK
Greens we’re bumpy.
Fairways were rough.
It was a day out in the sunshine which made it a good day.
It has the potential to be a nice facility, but some of the design is suspect as in two other Kelly Blake Moran designs in the area. As for challenging Makefield Highlands...not a chance. They just tried to start a golf league and eight people showed up.
