This golf course is the best value in the area. It has everything that you are looking for on a 18 hole golf course. Greens were in excellent shape. Beverage girl made her rounds quite frequently and was very friendly. Afterwards went into the clubhouse and had a delicious burger and a cold refreshment. Will definitely be back.
The course was on super condition. After hosting the ladies UP championship earlier in the week it was still in great shape. The front 9 was a little slow with several foresomes of ladies. It was ladies day. The back was better. My home course so I am proud of it.
Spring in the U.P.
the course was in perfect condition. we played in 4 hours. A nice steady pace with no waiting.
New carts were nice.
They have no drinking water on the course only in club house:(
Early on the season here so I am quite sure things will get better. Had no cart to use.
One of my favorites!
Nice layout! Great weekend course! Scoreable on a good day, but challenging enough to eat you up! Fun par 3s with large greens with great speed! Go play oak crest! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not what I would expect
After paying for 18 holes I got to the clubhouse and they didn't even know how I paid for my game. Tee times are 4 minutes apart. I was a single stuck behind a group of 4 who showed up late. My entire game was rushed because i had another single behind me. It took me 3 hours to get through the first 9. Before 10 i grabbed a drink and came out to a 5 cart waiting line on the 10th tee. I finally went back to the club house and waited a half hour to get a rain check because of the wait and I received a piece of paper worth 15$ with a signature on it. It will probably not be awarded if use it. The course was laid out great except the waiting and rushing to play. It was very frustrating I will stick to timberstone where I normally play.
Up North Course
We have a weekend place in Pembine, WI so there are not many choices for golf courses nearby. Despite not having much competition Oakcrest is an excellent course that stacks up against any course. I'm from the Milwaukee area where we have a plethora of high quality golf courses and Oakcrest is just as good as any of them.
course is a classic with wide fairways and protected greens.. Natural UP sand in the bunker is a joy to hit.
Greens have a subtle slopes which make them a challenge.
Best value for the area. We play it multiple times each time we visit.
Oak Crest is in awesome condition for so early. The grounds crew has been extremely busy. Just raking leaves has to be a huge task. Did not see one green with any winter kill. Great job Oak Crest !!!!
Great experience for this time of year
Course was in great shape for early in the season. Arrived early andhte pro got me out starting on 10. Played as a walking single and had no one in front of me to slow play.
Good shape after a terrible winter
Course was in very good shape after a brutal winter.
A few bare spots in the fairways but the greens were in good shape. Greens were a little slow but well maintained. Front nine was a little slow but played through a couple thoughtful foursomes. Back nine went quickly. Overall a good value!!
Great place to play 18 holes in the area
This is a fun course and one of the only options for 18 holes in the area. The course is short for a good player but that helps make it fun and gets tight on a few holes tucked back in the woods. The course can get busy as they push a lot of rounds if your playing during peak times.
