Gets better further into round

Amazing views from top of the hill in Port Erin, friendly welcome from a lady who seemed to be doing everything from serving meals to taking greens fees. Found the first few holes a bit boring and was thinking these must be newish holes but it gets much better from about 5th hole, course conditions were good and the greens were a good pace. Think if the wind blew it would be fun playing around Rowany. Great holiday golf course.

Flood

Only 9 holes available, pro in shop very friendly and helpful, but there is no way seemingly to get a refund due to weather from golf pass, also booked to play peel on the 30th ,but 40 mph wind and flooded,no way to contact golf pass to get refund, not the greatest service from golfpass

Booking system poor

The on line booking system indicated £30 per player but the actual cost was £25. Very confusing.

Interesting course

Played in dry summer conditions when distance was not a problem; but you have to think about the shots you play here and most holes have an individual character

Good Quirky Challenge

This course keeps you thinking on every hole and is lovely to play. Pete at the 19th gave us a great welcome and looked after us when we came in. Recommend playing this hilly course.

Ladies comp made it a tough one

Course was in great condition but we were off the back of a ladies comp of 53 players which wasn’t shown on the course website or online booking site. It meant for a lot of waiting but it didn’t spoil the round and for the bargain green fees we couldn’t grumble.
