Send Rain to Arkansas!
The course was very dry, struggled to get a tee in the ground on most tee boxes. Some very narrow fairways with rocky ditches on each side that help you find your ball, but you can’t hit out of them. Greens a little rough, some sections of different grasses growing. Overall a scenic course with many challenging holes. First time playing, so not knowing all the dog legs and hidden features made it more challenging.
Beautiful Day
Gorgeous day in central Arkansas on a beautiful golf course. Pro shop people are awesome and the whole community loves golf and support you anyway possible.
Awesome Day
Excellent course! Greeted at the pro shop by strangers like an old friend. Super friendly staff in the pro shop. Played 18 holes on a wonderful and scenic course.
Great course!
Took a weekend trip to hot springs and we decided on playing diamongead, we were not disappointed! The course was phenomenal, had some good dog legs, awesome elevation change, greens were in good condition. Next time I'm in town I will play again for sure.
Hot Springs
Nice course and very challenging…..Greens were in great shape and had true roll to them…Only complaint no drinking water on the course
Course in horrible shape
Course in horrible shape, greens are a joke, one local resident lived there for 20 yrs says it is the worst shape he has ever seen
Pretty layout
Played from whites- 6100 or so. Pretty tight, fairways ok, greens had be top dressed and grass hadn’t really come back that well. Very slow and sandy. No water or ice or a cup to be had except to buy. No water on course. No food or drink amenities to be had. Overall a below average experience!
A challenge for every club
Fairway or creekbed? Take your pick. No forgiveness or second cut of any kind, straight down the creekbed. Elevations are all over the place, mostly all up hill. Dog legs are 150 yards and then sharp turns, nothing you can draw or fade into (and there are a lot of them).
No hot food, drink cart, GPS or any modern amenities on the course.
Greens are half cut-down weeds that jump your ball off line. The course would be good if not for this alone.
You will score higher than your handicap on your first go through it just for not knowing the course.
