Some tuff greens!
The course was in good shape 9/3/16. Got behind a very slow foursome. Course layout is a challenge, with several doglegs. The greens were some of the most undulating and sloped I've ever played. Overall a Good challenge for a 9 hole course.

Reminds me of the old Country Meadows course that was in saltsburg years ago. If they keep putting money into course it will be great one day!
Make you feel at home
The staff could not be more friendly at Deertrak.; the staff really go out of their way to welcome you to their facility. The course was in terrific shape, the greens were pristine, and overall was a great experience. Will definitely go back to play again and again. Each hole is unique, well designed and offers players of all levels a realy shot-making challenge.
Great little course
We played this course on a flawlessly beautiful Saturday. Its only nine holes but I like that as I always think I could play this hole better the second time round..and in fact did (and also did not) on some of the holes. There are no sand traps or water that comes into play so it made it more enjoyable for play. At one point we spoke to a young sophomore from the local high school (West Shamokin Wolves!) and his friendliness and overall polite manner (not to mention a heck of a tee shot) embodied the feel of the day. Don't expect fancy locker rooms-there are none-or an amazing restaurant-only hotdogs, candy bars and beer. But you can expect a friendly staff and some tricky greens to give you pause.
Great value for the money
I have played many nine hole courses and most are a step down in quality from a traditional 18 hole course. I was pleasantly surprised at the course and how friendly and helpful the staff was.

Deertrak A freat value!
You can't get any more down home than this! Everyone is so friendly... they make you feel at home, even if a stranger.I have always enjoyed what I call the personality of this course.... with a combination of open field play to heavily wooded.... alot of character for 9 holes!The course was in nice condition, but please know there are some rougher spots when back in the woods... I don't mind this.This has to be one of the best values around... if you can walk the course... not so easy to do.. it is only $6! Wow !!
