Ideal for practice rather than the driving range

The price reflexes the standard level of the course so therefore reasonable value for money. One staff member but a gentleman at that, very friendly and obliging.

18 holes (9holes x2)

Can be a tough course if you are starting out. Greens are in poor condition and could do with some upkeep. Fun course and good value for money.

Good Deal

Played the 18 holes (play the 9 hole twice) for €23 for two which was a good deal on a Sunday. Was a bit slow as a lot of people playing on the fine day of a Sunday. All is very casual and no one complaining about slow play etc

Good course to practice on for a more serious challenge

Short in length and only 9 holes so does lack that variety of challenge that a more modern course offers. The greens and bunkers were in excellent condition and I say this because they have been poor on previous visits, so well done to the green keeper.

Easy Going

This is a nice course that is friendly. The staff are attentive, the course is honest and straightforward but not too difficult. It is nice to see the various groups of golfers from couples, father and son as well and your regular 2, 3 and 4 balls. No frills on the course or price.

Course unfit to play

10 minute delay in tee off time, not a problem.
Greens in terrible condition, clumps of weeds growing on all of them and long over due a cut.

Three ball in front of us were sharing clubs. St the fourth hole a four all decided they would not wait on the 1st and jumped in ahead of the 3 ball ahead of us.

I went to reception to report these issues, the young gentleman was very pleasant but it wasn't sorted out.

We abandoned play at the 17th which is a small par 3 due to the level of people queuing.

I had play here last summer when there seemed to be some course management and course staff thing care of the upkeep of the course. It is such a pity they have let it deteriorate to such an extent.

I would not return here to play, particularly at the weekend when they only seem to employ one member of staff.
