Return Deer Valley
Great day of golf. Excellent Staff and golf fees the best. Will return!
Awesome Rolling Farmland Track
Beautiful golf course in the Wisconsin farmland. A lot of elevation change and a lot of variety throughout. Course was in great shape, albeit a bit wet from recent rains. Great bang for the buck. Would play here again without hesitation.
What a view.
What a pleasant surprise in the middle of the beautiful WI farm country. The course is a nice walk in the countryside. The first course I ever played that had a cornfield as the out of bounds area if your drive went a bit too far right. The greens, fairways and tee boxes were all in great shape. A couple of blind tee shots, but overall the course was very playable. My wife and her sister felt the course was very fair for women. Each hole is a little different. Spectacular views of the whole county after a straight uphill par 5 first hole. Fun clubhouse to enjoy a beer too.
Deer Valley
I like this course because there are 3 different 9-hole layouts that you can play. I played the Ridge & Prairie courses. The course was in good condition & the greens rolled true. We got behind 3 foursomes on the back nine that were each playing a scramble, so it slowed down quite a bit. Overall it was an enjoyable round.
Love this course
I happen to play DV a lot and always enjoy playing there. The course is well maintained and the staff is awesome. The greens are taken well care of, fairways meticulously mowed and tee boxes aren’t scorched. I would suggest bringing along some bug spray depending on the time of year you are playing. It also gets a little windy as well. Adam, John and Todd are great guys and are very helpful. Definitely worth the drive, time and money.
Nice course
Course in really good shape.
Staff is always friendly.
Hard to get a flat lay...... Good test of golf.
AWESOME
Everything about this place was unbelievable. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially the general manager. I was an out-of-town player from Ohio and yet I felt as though I've been playing there for years.
The course is stunning. Hands down the best course I played in Wisconsin, and I played 5 rounds, at 5 different courses, in 5 days. You can't possibly beat the value either. The driving range is immaculate and the greens and fairways were flawless. I'm a pretty "picky" golfer and I give Deer Valley an A+ all around.
For reference, I played this course a day before Hawks Landing and I regret not playing Deer Valley two days in a row.
I'd like to personally thank the staff for greeting me with open arms. I will DEFINITELY be back.
windy deer valley
I've golfed here multiple times and decided to ask a friend to join who is somewhat new to golf. he was impressed. Fun time!
Fun challenging course
Some of the faraways we're a bit dried out but still very good. Played in July and some holes were soggy due to lots of rain but now they are in good shape again. Fun course to play. Pace of play great. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Very fun challenging course
The biggest challenge may be figuring out what hole you're on. At one point, I couldn't find #9 Prairie and asked two ladies - they were looking for # 9 Valley. I gave up and played #9 Ridge, then went to #10 Prairie. My GPS was lost too. The course is very hilly, and has some long holes with steep drops, and also a steep climb on one hole. Lots of open space, but a few major hazards. Fun, but I don't keep score. Scorekeepers may not enjoy it as much.
Course was way too crowded
The course was very crowded, unsure if there was a party going on or what. There was a group of 6 golf carts surrounding the 9th green screaming and literally having a party there. Was very disruptive to anyone teeing off on any of the other holes. Very disappointed. Saw a least four groups of six on the course as well.
Challenging and fun course
Great couse for all levels of players. The Valley course has a couple holes still recovering from heavy rains this year but still playable. Staff friendly and helpful. Love playing this course.
Disorganized--Needs Signage
The Facility has 3 nines that are laid out next to each other. this often lead to confusion as to where the next tee is located. signs listed hole numbers but gave no indication of the shape of the hole making it difficult to figure out where we were going. When 2 or 3 of the 9's had holes next to one another it took extra time to figure which tee box to go to and which green we were to aim for or where it was located
rainy day
I had a very good round despite the weather. the weatherman was wrong again, it wasn't supposed to rain until mid afternoon but started at hole 2. i ended up playing super well on the back 9. i was driving the ball very well which is a bonus on this course. i love the elevation changes. great day overall although i was soaked when i was finished. It's not a super long course but is challenging. greens are in very good shape for this time of year
