Could be good with some care
The staff are great and the course layout is ok. Some good challenging holes.
Sadly the tee boxes are in bad shape. Especially the badger course. Very difficult to find any level teeing ground.
Trees down and have been left and trees and bushes over grown meaning some approach shots are nigh on impossible without blading one into the green.
With some time and effort it could be a gem though I'm not sure the owners are too bothered.
A challenge
Tee boxes very poor. Fluffy grass and lots of divots. One box (7) had the markers lined up the wrong direction! Fairways ok but the greens were very uneven having been treated with sand and the grass had not been cut for at least a day. Didn't like the way bushes had been allowed to grow up on the approach to the 18th so if you got a hole in one you wouldn't see it!
Great value
This course is great value. It has a laid back visitor friendly atmosphere and is suitable for all skill levels. There are some tough holes and some which make you want to keep coming back.
Condition can vary depending on how frequently the grass is getting cut but the greens can be excellent.
